Not very sturdy but sturdy enough. Ya get what ya pay for. Does the job well and holds all my guitars. I don't have an acoustic to test but here's a pic with 5 electrics. Works on my basses, 6 and 12 strings.

Bought this for my son. It is solid, beautiful, and perfect for his smaller space.

Nice and compact, stable. But if you lift it by the top bar, sometimes it slips off.

This rack is perfect for musicians who frequently switch between multiple instruments. It has ample padding and is plenty sturdy although I wouldn’t take it on the road. While it has the ability to be broken down for portability it’s anything but convenient and is better left set up at home.As far as space, it says up to five guitars, and it will absolutely fit five electrics just fine as long as you aren’t a cave man who thrashes their guitars about. Four or five electric basses also, but for acoustics probably keep it to three.Pros: Sturdy, compact, attractive.Cons: Not easy to disassemble for transport as marketed, but this is hardly an issue for any reasonable human being.

The stand was easy to assemble and is sturdy. The padded bars protect the instruments and keep them from getting scratched. A great quality for the price that I paid.

Overall I think this is a pretty good stand for use in less demanding environments, such as your home practice space or perhaps a studio. I don't think it's beefy enough for more demanding stage use, but I mean for $35-$40 we can't expect it to be like pro-grade touring stands costing 3-5 times as much. One thing I really, really like about it is that it has nice foam padding everywhere -- on the bottom bars, the top bar, and even on the little top cross bars where the neck rests. Most similar stands do not have the little top cross bars padded, and I'd be really pissed if one of my guitars or basses got the neck scratched from them.I bought the 5-guitar size. One thing to consider is if I actually put 5 guitars or basses in it, they will be pretty close to each other and I'd have to be careful when pulling them out or putting them in not to hit the adjacent guitars. I typically only keep about 3 guitars and basses out at once for practice or projects, and spacing them every other slot in it is perfect. A typical full-body acoustic guitar takes up two slots to allow enough clearance. It's beefy enough to hold 5 guitars and basses if needed, mine isn't wobbly at all. I like how they have a full rectangular bottom section instead of the two separate bars many similar stands have, I think that makes it more stable.Just take your time when assembling to fit it together properly and tightly. But don't over-tighten the screws, they are not heavy duty steel and will strip, they are fine to just finger tighten without being silly about it.Unfortunately the cut on on bottom foam sections on mine were not very precise and left gaps on the two sides where the pieces come together. I wrapped the gaps with some black protection tape (kind of like electrical tape but thinner and less glue), and that hid the gaps fine. But still a little disappointing. So I would recommend this stand for lighter use, but if you're going to beat it up on the road or something, I don't think it would take that. I'd give it 5 stars for being great for the value, except I'm deducting a star for the messy cut of the foam on the bottom section.

I like the quality combined with agility. It folds up quick and packs well with my amp stand for gigs. Assembly was simple.
