I was excited about the idea of this to store my son's 5 guitars plus give him a little extra shelf space. It was well made and would have been awesome if it had been deep enough to hold his acoustic guitars. Unfortunately we had to return this item, but would have definitely kept it if it had been the right size for all the guitars.

I received a refurbished item instead of a new item. The parts that were supposed to be rubber coated for protection were not.

I bought this for my husband as an Xmas gift. He was wanting a guitar rack for his electric guitars and one of his amps.I gave this 2 stars because it looks nice.It took my husband about an hour to put the thing together. He placed one of his electric guitars on, gently, and it didn't fit! It is too big. His guitar fell over and now has a small dent (he is not happy about the dent). He now has to figure out how to rig this shelf up to hold his guitars. The hassle of taking this thing apart, repacking it, and sending it back--well, if we can't get it to work, we will have no choice as it is worthless for anything other than a guitar rack.I do NOT recommend this for electric guitars or bass. It is better suited for acoustic guitars.
