Why is it that every high end kitchen appliance nowadays wants to spy on you? My Samsung refrigerator, hooked to the internet, listens. I talk about getting new tires for my truck and within hours, I start seeing ads on my phone and laptop about truck tires. This beautiful double oven has a feature where you can only use the air fryer mode if you connect it to the internet. To me, that's ridiculous. To use an option on an oven that you paid a lot of money for, you have to connect to your home's wifi. Why? In my opinion, they too want to spy and gather data on you. FYI, I disconnected the internet on the refrigerator and have never initiated a wifi connection on my double oven. All that being said, the ovens are beautiful and cook well.

We have had just about every line of appliance and although I HATED Viking dishwasher and range I simply loved their ovens and thought I would never find something as good. Until now. I love this oven. First it is simply beautiful but all the extra features and connected app take it over the top!

My 1st delivery had concealed damage to the back of the unit. Contacted customer support and shared photos. They felt the dented-up areas would not prevent the oven from operating properly. I didn't want to take any chances and they agreed to return and ship another unit. Our 2nd unit was perfect and was worth the delayed wait.This is a very well-built oven. The smart feature setup was a little cumbersome and I had to contact support to help me get the wifi setup. They had me up and running in just a few minutes. I have enjoyed cooking with my Cafe double oven and am very happy with my purchase.
