This is an incredible coffee machine. Yes, the wifi control is terrible, but the machine, itself, is great! (And almost all functions can be adjusted manually.) I have owned three Jura machines. I liked them, but there were often problems with volumn and temperature. I would usually get 3-4 years before sending them for repair and would get 5+ years before replacing. This machine makes the best coffee that I have ever made. I used one reviewer’s advice of adjusting the grind to a finer level; I have always used Lavazza Super Crema; and I adjust the temperature and volume ( for Americano) to the highest level. ( Most of this can be done without the ridiculous wifi app.)The results are terrific. I have quit using cream, and do add a little honey. Am drinking more coffee, and look forward to every cup. My wife loves hot tea, and the water function pushes out clean, and hot water easily. Water function can also warm coffee mug, if you desire even hotter coffee.I don’t know how long this coffee machine will work, but I can buy 5-6 of them rather than 1 top-of-the-line machine, and I get a significantly better cup of coffee from this machine.

June 2024 - I haven't had the expensive versions ($1-2+K) for comparison, but this title item makes nice coffee - tasting WAY better than the Keurig items i've gotten used to.The app is atrociously bad - GE should be really embarrassed .......The water reservoir is way too small, requiring frequent refilling and requires pulling the machine way out on the countertop to access.BUT ..... makes decent coffee; i like it; hope it lasts.September 2024 - Review above written within several weeks of receiving this item; now, 3 months later, that last question is answered - it hasn't lasted - still makes coffee, but won't descale and internet search confirms this is a common problem, to which GE supplies no resolution......

I've had this 3 weeks and just love it. I've had more expensive fully automatic esspresso makers that I loved, but what I like better about this is the size and the simplicity. It's compact, but looks elegant compared to any of the others. It has lots of smart features. The water container isn't large, but it very conveniently opens and inserts from above. I just refill whenever I make coffee like we used to when we would make perculated or drip coffees. The pellets are easy to empty and the bean grinder seals tight keeping the beans fresher. There may be bells and whistles missing, but none that I use.The app was difficult to set up for me, but since it's been set up it works really well with reminders to fill or empty grounds etc. It would be nice to have more settings in the app, like the ability to make a personal favorite like 2 lungos and 1 esspresso, but it does let you adjust grind time and temp for the set options. I like the app once set up and I love the machine and the esspresso it produces.I definitely recommend.

I have used this coffee maker for about 10 days now and I like it quite a bit. In the past, I’ve had a saeco and then my Jura gave out after five years. I decided I could buy three of these machines for the price of one Jura Definitely, the Jura made a thicker crema but this machine does a good job. The Americano is between 10 and 12 ounces and I prefer 16. Think that can be adjusted by the app. I got the impression it said at the largest default and I am not gonna hook a coffee machine up to an app. That’s ridiculous to me. The one thing I really like about this machine is by the dispenser spout. It has a light that lights up when it’s making coffee which is great for those dark mornings. Also, if you wanna pause a brew, you started you just tap your choice again and it stops .it’s a little noisy but it’s easy to use. It has a fairly small footprint. I personally did not buy the milk froth model. I have a Breville that works great. My experience with built-in milk froth is that hose gets dirty nasty with no real way to clean it or replace it so I would much rather use a standalone milk frother. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the machine. The water tank only holds enough water for 2 cups of coffee but that’s not a problem. So far it’s been easy to clean. I think it’s a good value. And after using it daily for nearly 6 months, I love it even more.If you’re somebody who says well, you get what you pay for then I would say definitely buy this machine because you get a lot more than what you pay for!
