I had to reframe the giant hole in the wall from the previous heater that burned up, but this unit snugly fits in tge new opening. The old heater was loud and obnoxious and only had a knob for heat control (Hot or off). The new unit is super quiet and does a nice job keeping our home office a comfortable 75 degrees (wired at 240v). It's only been a few weeks, but it did great considering it was single digits outside over the last week.

It was a replacement for a customer. Fit right in opening no drywalling. We installed it in a cold entrance w/steps in a condo. Really heats up the hallway nice. Gets really cold here in Wisconsin. Nice thermostat works well.

Read many reviews and recognized Cadet as an established name in space heaters. I have a large bath with limited areas to install a heater and I do not like the clutter of having corded floor heaters that collect dust. I had 220v easily available and I have electrical experience. Very easy to install and the clean up of cutting out the drywall took longer than the installation. Works and looks great.

Worth the extra money if you are unsure your voltage or think you may ever have your electrical redone. Unit is easy to install, powerful, ultra quiet and safe.

We put this little heater on our boat. My husband wired it in so the warm air comes out of all the heat vents. The item was easy to install and can be put in an unnoticable place. It's not one that has to set in the middle of the room. Our boat has half a dozen heat vents, and this item provides nice warm air to all the vents.

These heaters work great. Until it doesn’t. We installed 4 of these heaters and 3 worked well but the 4th was a completely different story. After we hooked up the last heater 240v we walked away only to hear a POP CRACKLE BAG! We walked back in the room after hearing the noise and the heater core must have shorted out! The entire unit was melted and about 500 degrees. The wall was flaming hot so my installer ripped it out immediately and found it melted and destroyed. Not sure what malfunctioned but we sent it back quickly. My advice is to watch it closely for about 10 minutes to make sure nothing shorts out causing a potential fire hazard. The pictures show the damaged caused to the unit. Charred, melted fan blade, destroyed LCD and so on.
