Works as intended for a pair of older DVD burner drives I have that support an application for ripping gamecube and wii discs I used that require these special older drives to rip things properly.

Good cable, easy to fold and works great in an original Xbox. BUT- make sure to get the 24 inch cable!I saw the reviews saying that an 18 inch works, but either I didn’t look hard enough or they failed to mention the mass amount of folding you need to do to get it to fit. I naively thought the 24inch would have too much slack left over, but no, that would be the perfect cable for an Xbox.

When softmodding and using a higher capacity drive, make sure to buy the "80 wire" version (Which this is) the 40 wire variant thats included with the xbox itself. Worked perfectly fine

Purchased this cable as a replacement for a bad cable that was failing to detect drives. Cable works perfectly, detected both drives which now work perfectly.

Used it to upgrade the HDD on my OG XBOX. It does the job, works with the SATA to IDE converter I have. Unfortunately the connectors are flipped vertically compared to the stock ribbon which makes it incredibly awkward to fit.

This was the perfect idea cable to upgrade my OG xbox, it is a tight fit but I do not have extra cable running anywhere.The quality seems as good as ever, and I was able to fold it over nicely.

I tried using 40p/40w when I connected SATA to IDE and got tons of errors. 40p/80w fixes the r/w errors

This cable is long enough to reach both drives in an og Xbox. It requires some gentle folding to fit and look nice. I was able to make it work perfectly.

Had to bend it around kind of weird since the connection was opposite (upside down). But in the end the length worked perfect to upgrade my original modded xbox to a 2tb drive.
