[Designed for EVGA 1000 GQ PSU | Efficient & Stable Power Supply] This power cable is exclusively designed for the EVGA 1000 GQ 80+ GOLD 1000W power supply, perfectly compatible with its PCI-E 6-pin interface to deliver stable power output.
18AWG high-purity copper core with 105°C heat-resistant PVC jacket, UL-certified for 4A@12V continuous load per port (3A Max/HDD interface). Supports stable power delivery to 3 consumer-grade SATA devices (SSD/HDD/ODD), compliant with IEC 62368-1 thermal standards under tested conditions: 25°C ambient temperature, open-air environment, and isolated cable routing.
The flexible, bend-resistant 73cm cable meets mid/full-tower chassis cable management needs, with gold-plated oxidation-resistant connectors.

Interface Compatibility Notice: 1.This product is a power supply cable (not for data transfer). The input interface is PCI-E 6-pin (connects to the EVGA 1000 GQ PSU’s PCI-E slot), and the output includes 3 SATA 15-pin connectors (for power only). 2.Compatible with EVGA 1000 GQ 80+ GOLD 1000W PSU. Other models or brands may cause interface mismatch. Confirm your power supply model is EVGA 1000 GQ and interfaces match (Input: PCI-E 6-pin; Output: SATA 15-pin). Incompatible devices may fail to function!

Critical Warning: Always power off and unplug the PSU before installation to avoid electric shock or short circuits! Do not force connections if interfaces are incompatible.

The cable prevented full power. Perhaps it was bad? Returned it.

coming here to leave my own review. I noticed nearly every review on here is of people complaining that the cable came with a short in it or that it's not working at all... Well it would of course seem that way at first IF you don't have the knowledge to test it properly. The actual problem here is, is the cable isn't actually for the PSUs that this is advertising it as being for! When I got mine I did tests on it before trying to connect it to anything and low and behold it wasn't the right pinout for the PSU this sale post advertises it for. I had to use a power plug pin removal tool to repin the whole thing. After doing so it worked fine. So for anyone needing to make this cable work, Google how to repin modular PSU cables and either try to use paper clips, or brtter yet get this tool and use it to do so. You can Google what pins on the plug are for what.JRready ST5255-05 Pin Extractor... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CHYM3YQV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This cord was bought to assist with additional plug ins. The cord was faulty from the start and melted the plastic and connectors to both the cord as well as my hardware. THIS CAN POTENTIALLY RUIN YOUR HARDWARE. DO NOT BUY

Like other reviews, mine was dead on arrival. Power supply likely detected short in the system and would power the PC. Removing this cable fixed everything. My power supply is an EVGA 850 gq
