I needed this cable to split power to two devices and I only had one. Working as advertised.

I have on old Dell Optiplex 7010 that I decided to plug my sons old GTX 550 into, but it needed a PSU cable, so I replaced the PSU. Right up against the side panel for the case was where the system HDD drive plug was located. The new PSU only had straight-in plugs, but the original had 90-degree angles plugs. The wires for the new plug extended past where the side panel would fit, so I searched for an adapter. For $2 more I chose the 2 cables instead of the single cable because you never know when you will need an extra cable. When it came I grabbed a cable, plugged it in and fired it up. The Power button was blinking Orange 2 flashes followed by 2 more flashes. I looked this code up in the owners manual and it said PSU or PSU Cable Error. So I unplugged that cable, grabbed the second cable and plugged it into a different plug on the PSU cable and voila fired up with no problems. Thank goodness I had options. I don't know (and don't care) if the problem was with me hooking it up wrong, or the 1st cable adapter was bad, or the original PSU plug was bad. I had another option to try without fretting about the issue and it was only about a 4 minute blip in my day. I will probably never need a 2nd cable adapter but am so glad I bought 2 anyway.

Works as expected. This 2-pack of SATA power splitter cable assemblies works perfectly. The package came with 2x SATA power male-to-dual female SATA power right angle plugs were perfect for an Alienware Aurora R7 that had the OEM power supply swapped for an EVGA 650W power supply. The EVGA did not include any right-angle plugs for the 1TB mechanical spinning hard disk drive so these cables were perfect for the job.

I used these cables to provide power to a couple of SATA SSDs and a GPU in an old Dell tower. Good material and easy to use. I recommend these power splitter cables.

Habe das Kabel angesteckt, den Tower wieder verschlossen und das Kabel seither nicht mehr gesehen. Es scheinen die erforderlichen Impulse übertragen zu werden.

The product is of very very Good qualityBut I could not use it in my pc because the end which connects to my Hard disk is in L shape and I don't have space for L shaped cable, so I ordered flat type and had to return this L cable but over all product is of very good quality

These worked as designed. The problem was that this specific design is larger than the space allows for drive placement in the new Dell 8940 computer. The end of the drive with the cable attached prevented the case from being put back on due to the connector being so long. Needed shorter connector. It was totally my fault, and not the fault of the cable. Just a word of warning for others to make sure the cable will fit when adding drive(s).

I upgraded the oem 460W power supply in my Dell Alienware Aurora R7 to an EVGA G3 gold 850W unit. The SATA power cable in the EVGA was not angled like this one, and that prevented me from closing the Alienware computer case. This right angled cable was just what I needed to power my storage drive. I connected one end into the hard drive, and the other into the SATA power cable from the EVGA and I was good to go. Also, this is a Y cable, and the second SATA power adapter is long enough to reach my lower 2.5" drive bays (which aren't populated yet).
