Decent lock does what is needed

This thing isn't going to keep a moderately motivated thief out, but works for a minimal barrier. We use it to lock our back gate so that we can access it to open from both the front and the back. If someone wants into our backyard, they can get past this lock, but for the average curious passerby, it is probably enough to deter entrance.

This is marketed to include outdoor use. Within the first rain, a week after putting it out, it’s now completely jammed. I almost had to get wire cutters. I’m glad it’s still the return window. The design seems cool, but an outdoor lock needs to withstand rain.

Pluses: multiple choice cables. Easy to set combo.Minuses: low security cable, won't deter any thief with cutters.So, use for home to keep kids out, but I wouldn't trust it on the street to protect my bike.
