The cable is very narrow or thin therefore it is easy to wrap around a post with narrow gaps. It is just the right length to secure the item.

This worked great to keep my driveway gate locked. It will only keep honest people out though, not heavy enough for a real thief!! But it’s hard to keep one of those out 😁

Has a lightweight cable which could be cut with heavy duty wire cutters. However, I just needed to secure an item which was not very valuable but would be inconvenient to lose. Easy to lock and unlock.

I sue this lock-along with another one that is similar-to lock my bike to the rack whan we take trips. For this purpose I think this is great, it's not actually going to stop someone from stealing the bike but it will slow them down just enough to make it not worth even trying if we're at a gas station or restaurant. The length is great, and it's small enough to take with you just about anywhere. It was easy to set my own combination. The quality isn't super high end, I get the feeling that a couple of very strong tugs can dislodge the cable from the housing, so I wouldn't count on this for real security where you need something solid. But if you just want something simple for some peace of mind when you run into a gas station to use the restroom this is really perfect.

I was able to reset the combination with ease using the simple instructions provided. The cable easily releases and catches when securing the lock. The size of the combination gears is perfect for large hands and those with mild stiffness in their fingers. As previous reviewers noted the lock could potentially easily be broken or the cable cut. I intend to use the cable and combination lock to secure an expensive item in an RV park situation. The cable is relatively short when considering the item to be secured and the object which it will be secured to.I recommend this product and would buy it again.

I recently purchased the Cable Lock with Combination Lock, and while it serves its purpose for light security, I have some concerns. The 12-inch cable is quite thin, and I worry about its durability. Unfortunately, I found that it can be cut easily with hardened steel cable cutters, which makes it feel less secure than I expected.The combination lock is functional, but the overall construction of the lock feels a bit weak. While it may be sufficient for securing lightweight items or indoor use, I wouldn't rely on it for high-security situations.Overall, it’s a decent option for basic use, but if you’re looking for something that offers robust protection, I would recommend investing in a sturdier lock.
