The install for this was quite straight forward and consistent with other access doors.What made this unit stand apart is the quality of materials used and how solid the door hinge mechanism feels when you operate it. The thickness of the steel is substantial and not flimsy.This is many times better than your generic plastic access panels. Recommended.

This product is very sturdy, sleek and has a superior white finished surface. Ideal easy access to plumbing, shut off valves and all areas you may need access to. Very nice product and so much sturdier than plastic. Easy push on door for opening and closing.

Bought this to install on an existing 8x8 hole for access to water shutoff valves located in a closet.This panel sits flush with the wall and is of high quality. Push-lock mechanism works great.No specific instructions for mounting this are included but there are a few options available, from glueing the panel to the drywall to bending the tabs and fixing them with screws on the drywall. Your specific application will vary based on what's inside the wall and mounting position.
