Been using these in a heavy equipment shop for years. Oil will leak every time. Sure beats the kitty litter crap at your feet that gets into tools and prevents cart wheels from rolling.

I put these to the test recently when swapping out an oil pan gasket on a truck with 275,000 miles. These worked perfectly to keep the oil and gunk off my freshly epoxied garage floor. I went through probably 10 sheets on that job, but in the future I'll be able to reuse sheets for multiple oil changes and routine maintenance jobs, so I think they will provide good value for the money in the long run.

I work for the largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world and our ERT teams uses Spilfyter products to contain the occasional water and some chemical spills that occur. Along with being the largest semiconductor manufacturer my company is known for being one of the most safe and environmentally friendly companies as well so they only choose the best. Spilfyter is it. I use these to keep my garage looking new when I change my oil and the inevitable spills and drips occur when I am changing my oil in the truck and motorcycle. No oil has gotten through 1 of these although I do double them up for safety.

I have found this product to be excellent in the past. However in our most recent order, the pads are thinner, stiffer and somewhat less absorbent than with past orders. It still works, but I would say our consumption is up about 25% from previous versions.
