Older model had a power button at the back of the unit, this one didn't. It will just go on "power saver"mode after a minute or two but it is still ON - thus, is not energy-saver.

I drink warm water through out the night, and this is the perfect water machine for me. The size is perfect to sit on top of the night stand, and it dispenses the right amount of water at the right temperature. I enjoy not having to walk to the water dispenser in the living room during midnight. I wished this existed when my kids were little, it will make my life so much easier.

The output water temperature is way below the labelled value. Below is the tested temperature after I strictly followed the manual to conduct the boiling point measurement and have been using two different food thermometers to test the temperature at water outlet and results are consistent:1. Tested 80°C when choose boiling water.2. Tested 82°C when choose 90°C water.I'm returning it. Don't recommend if you plan to use it for tea or coffee.

Instant hot water on demand without having to keep water hot. Hot water starts within a second of pressing button.

This is a very efficient design. You can choose water temperature and amount of water you want dispensed. Exactly what I was looking for. It’s a simple design that is easy to keep clean. Simple and effective….perfect! Plus it does not take up a lot of counter space. I just wish it was a little taller/higher and the water flowed just a tiny bit faster. Other than that it is great!

The water refill design is super handy and easy to use. I love that it only heats as it goes. We tend to leave it on the boiling selection and it comes out steaming hot.Low counter space usage and nice easy to clean design.

It looks nice, and it is also nice to have instant very ‘warm’ water whenever you need it. You can almost put your finger in it when it comes out. Also the water trickles out very slowly, and that is probably when it cools, when it hits the air. In my office is an electric kettle by the same company, and that works great. I am hoping by get the mug closer to the faucet that helps. Otherwise I am going to return it. The water is just warm enough to make tea that is drinkable immediately. Doesn’t really work for pasta either. The water needs about another 5 minutes on the stove, and again it comes out too slowly to fill a pot.

This is such a great electric kettle! Because it produces hot water in real time, the water will not boil again and again. Boiling drinking water multiple times is not good for our health. It can have different temperature and capacity options, which is very convenient and environmentally friendly. It will automatically lock to prevent children from being hurt by accidental touching. Its size is small and compact. Its water catchment tank can be removed directly for easy refilling. I recommend using drinking water so there will be no scale. Now I use it to make coffee every day and the temperature is perfect! My husband uses it to brew tea, which is very convenient. Because you can choose the capacity, you can drink as much as you want without wasting it. You can also drink hot tea at the right temperature. Our whole family loved it. Highly recommended!
