I got these for my daughter, who rides her bike to a rock-climbing group. This way all of her stuff fits on the bike and not on her back. The panniers are well-made and the price is excellent. Highly recommended.

These panniers are perfect for carrying a bunch of clothes on a small front rack. I can get four sets of cycling shorts, undershorts, jerseys, and socks in them. They have a reflective strip along the side and front (or back depending on how you mount them). Mounting is easy with two strong metal clips and an adjustable elasticated cord with an S-hook. I hooked them onto the fender mounts on my fork. They're not going anywhere.I just took them for a one hour test ride and had no issues at all.

They look well, they have plenty of storage. I like the way you can adjust them. Easy on - off. Zippers function well, I spray siliconed the zippers, saves zippers and really maintains them. Says water proof, I sprayed 2 coats of water proofer on them, to beef them up. Some things I put in them , I put in Ziploc bags, just to make sure. That's just me.🙂

Build quality isn't bad, but hooks don't hold up over potholes - you'll find even when tightly secured by attached bungee your panniers will go flying. Don't have time for that so I'm trading up for Ortliebs.

Clean design, strong attachment system, good utility. I selected these bags for commuting purposes, and had initially been focused on the styles that had a fabric center piece joining the two bags on the sides. After deliberation I decided on these. A few dollars more than the other options, and in my mind the fact that these are two separate bags is a huge plus. If my load doesn't require filling both bags for the trip to work, I can use only one. Or, if I so choose, I can use one pannier and fix a different unit to the opposite side of the rack - I have plans to get hooks and bungee to convert a messenger bag I have to pannier use, and this can be used in conjunction with one of the Moab packs. The one very minor complaint I might have involves the laces for the compression system. These seem fairly lightweight, not quite as heavy duty as laces on an athletic shoe. The upper cord came rigged as you see in the Amazon picture - if you look at pics on the Bushwhacker website (specifically those taken of the red color option) you'll see a setup with a longer cord rigged in an "X" fashion across the top for better compression function. No big deal - this seems a natural item to replace with inexpensive mil-spec para-cord, reusing the slides for adjustment. This will be a conversion I will perform as I get my bike set for the upcoming season.Their size is a bit on the small side, but these are capable of packing everything I would need for a day at work. A pair of shoes fits well in one with room left over for lunch, shaving kit, or other small package, the other packs a full outfit (shirt, pants, undershirt, etc.). With some careful management, I could include a fleece jacket or vest, or a windbreaker, for when temperature drops. A bit smaller than I think I expected, but overall a good set with room between the pair for daily needs.I utilized the rear pull tabs (and some Velcro One-Wrap) to attach a taillight to each bag. Coupled with the rack-mount light I will be installing with the rack to hold these bags, this will give a high level of rearward visibility - a necessity for me as my commute time could be well after dark depending on my schedule.Overall very happy with these panniers. Simple large pockets - I will be including other carrying options for further needs on the bike as I get it ready for the road in spring.UPDATE July 14, 2016 - A year and a half later, these have fulfilled all expectations. Zippers, seams, and all components have held up extremely well, and they live semi-permanently on the sides of my Zefal rack. When not filled, the lacing pulls them in flat, reducing wind resistance to near zero, opening at a moment's notice for that on-the-way-home stop at the grocery store for milk and bread. Eggs are a little tricky - very little bounce protection, apparently, but if wrapped in two or three grocery bags or a spare t-shirt the carton and eggs survive nicely. For true long-haul cycling, they may be a bit small in capacity, but for the daily ride to work, a change of clothes with shoes, lunch, and any paperwork that needs to come along.

These arrived the other day. Took a few weeks. Quality looks excellent, zippers working. On the Moab website I foudn that these are total approx. 1650 cubic inches. Probably combined they are roughly the size of a medium backback. One large pocket in each bag. Can fit a hard cover text book in each one. Haven't yet hooked them up to my bike but they have nice sturdy hooks and strapping on each bag. Also, each bag has a handle to make carrying easier. They were a little smaller than I envisioned, but I haven't packed them with anything yet either. I would get these again or even upgrade to the Moab bags that are like this one but have an additional smaller side pocket on each bag, because the cubic inches I believe is closer to 1900. Either way, I think it's a great set of panniers. The last thing to test out will to see if I can set it up without my heels hitting them as I have size 12 feet.Edit: I've ridden with the bag mounted on my super tourist dx rack for disc brakes. With the bag mounted as far back as possible I have a solid 5 - 6 inches of heel clearance for the bag. So there is plenty of room for my size 12s, even if I wanted to move the bag closer on the rack.

I got these panniers to carry my lunch and work clothes to and from my job and they fit the bill perfectly. They easily fit a packed lunch box, change of clothes, wallet, and keys with room to spare. They attach to the bike rack with metal hooks. A bungee cord with another hook attaches to the bottom of the rack to keep it from bouncing loose. I had to re-route the bungee cord to get it to sit where I wanted on my bike rack but that was a trivial matter and now it sits perfectly with no movement. The inside surface (facing the wheels) is rigid. There are cords and cinches on the outside of the bags to tighten and constrict the cargo. My heels don't catch it thanks to the contoured shape. One thing I thought was strange was that only one of the panniers has a handle (a loop of webbing at the top to use as a hand hold). The handle makes it easier install and remove the panniers and I wish that there was one on both bags. Its not a big deal, at least not enough to take a star away. These panniers make my commute much more convenient and I am glad I got them.
