I purchased two of these and two larger ones for my D800 with and Aquatica housing. Honestly, it was too much. The camera was a pound or two buoyant. I think 4 of these would have been perfect. I had to tighten them up before using them. I think they came lose in shipping. Overall they are tough, light, and look great.

So I took this in an 8ft pool to check bouyancy on my camera.Then this week (Feb 18th 2024) I went to Cayman Brac. At the end of the trip the float was 90% full of water. I never saw bubbles coming out of it nor could I get the water out. Depths of 60-100ft on the dives (17 of them)I wouldn't waste your money. I'm dissapointed

Bought two and one leaked on second dive to 90ft. Water stays is and reduces float..

I'm using this to get the buoyancy right on a camera setup I use for diving. I've only testing it quickly in the bathtub so far but it seems more or less alright.I will add more information once I have it. But the float seems to be as advertised, but nothing exceptional.

I selected this rig to make my camera rig less negatively buoyant. After all the brackets and lights, I found the camera to be at least a couple pounds negative. This led to some steadiness issues. With the float on the top of the double handle rig, the centered upward force helps with handling.Construction appears to be a dense closed cell foam over a rigid core. The ball ends are within tolerance and the o-rings seem to be of the right durometer. There is an M5 socket to attach additional items but I do not have any accessories to use there.I can't speak to long-term durability but in several freshwater dives in murky water, it has not corroded or appeared to decay.
