This is not the same as what was in my machine. You can see the original part on the right has a long lead wire that was easily plugged directly into the circuit board. I ordered this before beginning to disassemble the machine noting that it’s a genuine Bunn replacement part. I am no electrician, so the new part, on the left, was going to need some work that I am not able to do.

I can fix anything so I bought this pump because it was one I could tell was brand new. I was able to take the bracket that mounted the original pump inside the keurig and put it on this pump, then soldered the wires to the new pump and put it back together. Works like new now.

This pump is one of the few weak spots in the Bunn MCP, so it's good to have a replacement available. The included zip ties are a nice touch. Note that the unit is not particularly intuitive to disassemble. There are a couple of good videos online to assist with this.Be sure to unplug the unit and let it cool off completely before you attempt the repair. Also, turn it upside down over the sink and let any excess water drain. (A thick towel on the bench is recommended.) Finally, the coffee maker is as tipsy as a three legged stool without the back cover and base installed. Use care! The original pump in my machine did not have a connector... no idea if the newer units have one. So there could be a little "solder and smoke" activity involved. No big deal, though. Just watch polarity - the red and orange wires go together, as do the black and brown ones.If you're reasonably handy with tools, using this pump you can resurrect your MCP for a whole lot less money than the price of a new one. Plus, it's one less electronic item in the landfill, and the older machines have more metal and less plastic, so it's a win all around.

I purchased this pump to replace the one in my bun, my café, which I love, I tried other coffee pots and none can make a cup of coffee this good. I’m a pretty handy guy and can fix just about anything so I was excited to put this pump inside this coffee pot to fix it’s dying parts. Even though the pump works it doesn’t seem to have enough pressure to actually push the air and excess water through the top like the original one. I can tell just by the sound that it doesn’t have enough air pressure. I been bled the lines to make sure they weren’t clogged or blocked. so I’m gonna give it a four-star just because it actually works but it’s going to deduct one star for not being 100%. Hopefully I’ll get a year out of it.

I have been through 3 pumps so far for my Bunn MyCafe single server coffee maker. The pump will generally last a year before it develops a leak and has to be replaced. Replacing the pump is not difficult but At this point I have probably paid for the coffee maker just in pumps. I will likely switch to a different coffee maker after this pump gives out.
