I bought this to use with my weight distribution hitch for my camper. That was a mistake. Way to many areas for failure and it failed. Camper weighs maybe 4500lbs and bent the hitch. Had to drag into a camping world and got a whole new setup to replace it. If I had the part I would want a refund.

I used this one time with my camper that weighs 9500 and 1000tw. One pin bent and the other has signs of wear. I like bullet proof hitch but this adapter needs to be reworked.

So I just got this together, And so far it looks good. It's a lot of weight combined, But it's definitely heavy duty.I spoke directly with bulletproof hitch customer service And ask the bunch of silly questions. Wonderful people, I look forward to making more purchases in the future. I'll post more/update my review once I tow my 8200 pound camper.I probably even do a YouTube review since there aren't any in reference to this attachment.

To much leverage to have an open pin design. If they closed up the area where the pins slide though this wouldn't be an issue. Aside from that, it does what is intended.

Saves on room and weight. There’s no need to carry another hitch, just pin in a different one.

I bought the bulletproof hitch originally because I needed a heavy duty hitch that could tow the weight of my job trailers for my contracting company and fit the new truck I bought. I was not thinking about my Recurve R3 weight distribution/sway control hitch. Do I had to buy this to get it quick for my first camping trip.It worked perfectly. I switched it over in 20min and had it setup to tow my travel trailer. I’ve been on two trips with it so far and I love it. I don’t have to keep changing out hitch relievers, just pull the pins and put in the ball.
