I can feel the difference already! 25 degrees this cold morning and it works just great over the bedroom windows and it blocks out the sun. I think two layers would really be great if you love the heat....i may add a second layer when spring hits to keep out the heat.

I used this material to cover the arched windows that receive summer sun to protect pictures that are in the suns direct path. The material was easy to cut, and it also include circular Velcro Dots for easy installation and removal. I also, used some of the material to protect the screen on solar inverter from sun damage.

My husband and I purchased this in a effort to avoid spending lots of money on blackout curtains. We bought a pack and crossed our fingers. We were not disappointed. We noticed the house getting cooler hours later and staying cool throughout the day! The pack came with adhesives to stick to the window. It was easy to remove from the glass and reposition if needed. Super easy and quick to get on the windows!Definitely would recommend as a cheap alternative to black out curtains to get your home cooler! :)

This insulation immediately brought the temperature in my room down by like 20 degrees. Super easy to cut and fit to windows. My apartment complex prohibits extra air conditioners beyond the one provided in the living room. The output from it doesn't reach the bedrooms and my trusty fan can only do so much. I wanted something that would work and make my bedroom tolerable. Blocks light well too. Beyond the thin blinds I already have, I won't need the blackout curtains I was thinking about because the light is very well blocked.I don't know if the provided adhesive stickers are any good because I went with painters tape instead. Will definitely buy this again.

Used inside an enclosed light box. This significantly improved brightness and light distribution. And the adhesive on the back of the included hook-and-loop dots is extremely tenacious!

Use it in my camper van for the windows. Works really well to block out heat or keep heat in when it's colder.

The product was not what it showed. It came in a bunch of chunks and some of them had cuts in them. Worst product ever and false advertising

It is folded not rolled, which is not ideal. No size on the package, so I will have to see how big it is when I get it opened at our trailer.

We bought this to use in our frt side windows of our Class A motorhome. The product works pretty well so far and help keep ALL sun out.. It is a bit thinner then what we thought it would be. In the long run thos it actually worked out better bc we are able to fold it up smaller to fit in over head when not in use. When it come to the Velcro that comes with, it isn't that great. It is pretty cheap and falls off the Aluminum sheet or doesn't stick the window edge it self

Love this stuff. Our bedroom in west facing and above an all brick garage. The sun pouring in, even with blackout curtains caused our bedroom to heat up. This thermal barrier reduced heat by 90%. Easy to cut to size and comes with handy velcro stickers

We bought this to insulate our vehicle windows for "camping" sleeping in the back in below freezing temps. Unfortunately, this product is not shipped in a roll like the photo shows. Instead it was folded into a small bundle which meant there were creases every 12-18 inches or so. This meant it did not lay flat against our windows and we had to cut it extremely precisely and tape around the edges to get it to stay and insulate well. This made for a very long and tedious process. The insulation itself is fine - a bit thinner and less stiff than I was expecting but still insulated well enough to sleep in our car below freezing as long as we used some tape around the edges. One part of the windshield pulled away during the night when the tape fell and that was the only part of any of the windows that was frosted in the morning (~27 degrees).

This is not thick enough, so if you are using to block light as well as insulate, get something thicker.
