Fairly intuitive to setup and use compared to most low cost scopes.

The best of both worlds. A great multimeter and a two challen scope. I put a magnetic strap on it so it's all set for hands free measuring.

For the price of this particular model I really don't know if you can do much better. Yes the oscilloscope uses the regular test leads instead of an actual bnc probe, and it obviously isn't going to be as functional as some of the higher priced scope meters, but the dmm was plenty accurate for most things you're going to use it for, and the scope had no problems at all checking my fuel injector signals. If you're looking primarily for a dmm and only need the oscilloscope for the occasional lower frequency testing I'd say it's a good buy for $40.

It works OK. The ui is a pain to manually select the mode. The meter is slow at best. The probe push up into the bottom and fall out constantly. The scope is pretty much a gimmic. No bnc. Just probes so you can't expect much there. The worst part is you have to remove the back cover to expose the charge port and "calibration" test points. If you try to use the meter while charging you can't. It just says usb mode. Have to completely turn it off. It's a very very basic meter at best and really not an oscilloscope at all . Maybe catch a few automotive signals if you're lucky and they will be noisy. Basixally, Don't buy it for the scope only and don't buy it for the meter only. So....

+ The display is easy to read from far and in dark environments+ The probes are super sharp and gold-plated+ It comes with a sturdy carrying case+ It tests LEDs by lighting them up and shows the voltage they need+ The oscilloscope can handle higher MHz than other scopes in that price range+ It can also drop to 1Hz, turning it into a voltmeter with a 160 second graph of AC/DC up to 300V+ It has NCV and a flashlight+ It can save screenshots of both waveforms and meter readings+ The battery life at 30% brightness is more than 10 hours in multimeter mode and 7+ in dso mode+ It is serviceable, the case uses screws, the fuse and LiPo battery can be replaced without desoldering- The silicon skin is slippery- The waveform generator and usb charging port are underneath behind a trap door that's difficult to open as there is no slot to lift it and the silicon skin is in the way (I added a piece of tape folded in a "T" to make a pull handle)- It can't be operated on USB power, only on battery- No BNC ports so regular oscilloscope probes can't be used (but the tips from regular probes fit)- There's no information on where to get firmware updates (mine has FW 2.1.12 which works fine)- The button press beep can't be turned off- There is no stand nor hook, but the viewing angle on the display is very wide so it's not that big of an issue. It also doesn't have probe holders but the carrying case keeps them tidy.Overall it's a very useful tool, it works fine, is well made and doesn't feel cheap, so for $30 I think it is a real bargain.
