Installed this rope on winch mounted to 600 pound steep slope mower. Have used multiple times without issue or notable wear. Good product for my needs.

This is a nice rope, but I had to cut about six feet off it because it had started to fray after four or five uses. On the fence about this, but am continuing to use it. Fortunately, my grappling hook is not as expensive as my magnet, so if it breaks off, I am not out as much of an investment as I could be.

I'll be honest, one of my top priorities when searching ropes was to try to get the most bang for my buck. I spent hours scanning through all the available options on Amazon. I compared lengths, diameters, and load ratings. By the time I pulled the trigger I had no doubt in my mind but based on the description this was the best option. After using this extensively for the past few weeks I can tell you that it is without a doubt the best overall option that you will find. To find such a high load rating on a hundred foot rope for such a low price is borderline ridiculous. This is extremely well made, durable, and feels very comfortable when you're pulling with all your strength. At one point I even got my magnet lodged under a massive rock and was able to pull it out by attaching it to the hitch on my vehicle. To be able to do that with the utmost confidence that you will not damage the rope is added peace of mind. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and will likely be buying more.

As usual, Brute Magnetics offers a top of thee line product - this rope is heavy, both in size and weight: no mollycoddles need apply. If you have an expensive magnet, consider using this. The locking carabiner is overkill as well - I have seen tow chains with smaller links. And it's long - 100', for them tall bridges and deep lakes. Bigger and better - that's how they sell 'em in the USA. You only need one carabiner, folks: it's to secure your rope so you don't toss the whole set-up into the water like a dang fool. Tie a good knot on the other end of this handsome rope to the magnet (check the YouTubes) and tape it up - less rattling, mechanical failure and snagging that way. That's what the adults do. The people from Brute sell good stuff. Stay away from SE Pennsylvania and my good MF spots. I fina work them myself. Actually, all are invited - there's enuff scrap for all. Hey, Brutes, sponsor me!
