Money trees are actually water chestnut trees made into Bonsaian, evergreen with lovely bright green foliage, extraordinarily hardy and traditional symbols of good luck, all of which makes them a perfect gift for others or a gift to yourself if you need a little extra positive karma. Our Single braided Money Tree is actually 5 individual trees that come together to form this incredibly unique specimen. Money Trees are a great Bonsai for beginners or for anyone that could use a dose of happiness, health and wealth.
Each live plant is shipped with the Phytosanitary Certificate as required by the USDA.

Love this little money tree... So easy to care for and looks great. So simple to care for.

I purchased this money tree for my honey's birthday gift. The care instructions it came with were for a different tree. The pot it came in is a little small and from my understanding, you are supposed to keep the tree in the same pot for at least a year after travel. I was skiddish on purchasing this tree because of the negative reviews but I must say that this tree has been thriving since it arrived. The leaves are the prettiest dark green and it constantly has new shoots! I highly recommend and will purchase again. I am excited to see how it will transfer into a new pot!

This plant was upside down with the dirt out of the pot - the plant laying between the ceramic pot and the cardboard. How this happened with tape all over the pot is beyond me - but I am totally surprised that it survived. I was so disappointed. I have repotted it and am praying that it survives. I think it will. It should have been a good experiment - but someone did a lousy job of stabilizing the plant. There were cardboard cutouts to fit the box to stabilize the plant - but they were all over the place too. Nothing was as it should have been. The plant is great. Just beware you may get it in good shape or not. I just pray it doesn't die from all the shock it went through. I have received lots of plants - and sent as gifts - and this is the first bad packaging job (that I am aware of). UPDATE ON 9/14/2020 - Plant did not live - I gave it all the TLC I could - but it never recovered. It is dead, and I am so sad.

We loved this plant and it thrived in our house even under the worst conditions. Ie, not being watered, no light at all. We were shocked at how well it was doing even while being neglected. We got our act together and began taking proper care of it. It grew very big and I had to purchase a larger pot from Home Depot. We do believe that it brought us luck; we have been very blessed. I purchased the first one in Feb 2019 and it is now March of 2022. Unfortunately I thought it'd be a great idea to use Miracle Grow plant food spikes. There was no issue with the money tree but I just enjoyed it so much I wanted to pamper it. As soon as I put the food spikes in it died. We are VERY sad and TBH it really worries me and I just hope it is not an omen for what is to come. We live near Downtown Los Angeles, CA and could easily buy another in Chinatown but I wanted to repurchase from here because we were so happy with it the first time around. I'll update after some time passes with the new one.

I followed all of the instructions. Water well sunlight etc and now all of a sudden ALL of the twisted stems are starting to rot. According to reviews it could be due to a non draining pot or soil. I would assume that a compnaybsellinv bonsai would know how to grow these in proper pots. Very disappointed with this product and sad that it is dying. I have had bonsai for many years and this is the 1st one that has died within a few short months****UPDATE****I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST, SEEMS LIKE THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM A COUPLE OF MONTHS IN. THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FROM PEOPLE WHO ONLY HAVE THE TREE A COUPLE OF WEEKS. WAIT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND COME BACK AND FILL US IN. I PERSONALLY WOULD LIKE A REFUND BUT IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE ANYONE IS GOING TO RESPOND

My little money tree arrived yesterday. I was VERY impressed with how it was packed -- very clever! It arrived in perfect shape and seems to be OK. The leaves were a bit droopy but seem to have perked up today. I think it's just lovely. Will update this review if things go south, but I'm hoping the plant will do well.Update: My little tree is sitting in front of a window -- its leaves have definitely perked up and growing more. Am very pleased with this plant and I highly recommend Brussel;s Bonsai. When compared to other online vendors of plants -- the packing is far superior and the plant arrived in excellent shape.

***UPDATE*** 7-12-18I've purchased another as a gift since my first one and purchased another for my new office. My original plant had 2 of the 5 trees die after about 6 months. That could be me, but the others were doing fine. The reason my review is now 3 stars instead of 5 is because I averaged my first plant and my third. I'd still give the first one 5 stars. The one I just received is closer to 1 star Significantly smaller, though it was the same item purchased. The tree is very loose in the dirt almost as if plucked out of the ground and placed in the pot. Additionally, the apparent wires that I'm guessing are to hold the plant in place are showing. I never even knew wires were in my first plant.Hopefully this isn't a trend for the company and hopefully the plant does recover and survive. For a fraction of the 1800 guys, I bought myself this plant for my office. It arrived looking great. Packed well and fuller leaves than the picture. I'm hoping I can keep it alive. It arrived healthy and well. It has survived the week and weekend is already better than a Florists. It looks vibrant and sturdy. Much fuller than the picture.I will say, I wish it came with a tray. Even a cheap plastic one. I'm using a paper plate which works fine. Also, side note. After the packaging peanuts made it through 4 offices being cleaned up and passed. If you order this for your office, it's very easy to turn the box upside down and surprise a co-worker when they get back from lunch (without the plant inside. Which btw had zero signs of shipping and was packed excellently)
