Ordered the Ponytail Palm tree. It arrived quickly and packaged very, very well which was a good thing since UPS delivered it upside down. There was no damage at all because of the excellent packaging. The soil was still a little moist, all the leaved look great, the ceramic container looks great. All in all extremely happy with the purchase...great company and will definitely do business with them again.

Ponytail Palms are my favorite houseplant. They are almost impossible to kill, and they look super cool. I often buy them for people as gifts. In the past, I usually bought another brand of ponytail palm as gifts for friends, and I used to think that the other brand was good. Until now.The other brand was out of stock and I wanted to send a ponytail palm as a gift for my friend's housewarming. So, I rolled the dice and bought the Brussels Live Ponytail Palm and sent it directly to her house. It was SO MUCH NICER than the other brand. The Brussels Live Ponytail Palm was much larger and fuller, and it cost about $10 less than the other brand. The pictures show how the Brussels Live Ponytail Palm arrived at my friend's house yesterday. The pictures also show how the other brand arrived at a different friend's house a few months ago (when I gifted her the other brand for her birthday). The Brussels Live Ponytail Palm looks about twice as big, with much fuller, greener leaves. Overall, the Brussels Live Ponytail Palm is a much healthier and bigger plant, for less money than the other brand. It is an EXCELLENT value, and extremely giftable.

The Bonsai arrived today and is both pulchritudinous and eminating character. The first thing the UPS guy did when he stepped onto the porch was to sit the package directly on its side. Forehead slap! This was disconcerting. The packaging was designed well enough that there were no major breaks (to the plant or its planter) and the tree remained securely in place. Once pulled out and unwrapped I am extremely happy. This is clearly a large and mature plant with a whole 5x offshoots supporting long, beautiful leaves growing. The plant measures at 23" and I am VERY delighted that it beat the 12" to 20" tall parameter by 3 inches. Most of the leaves are actually a 3-4 inches longer than the trees overall 23 inch height. I have inspected it well and cannot find any hitchhikers. The planter that it came in is also very nice. It's cream colored with a couple of drainage holes at the bottom. It feels like either porcelain or glass. I am extremely happy with my purchase from Brussel's Bonsai. I found many sellers on amazon but they seemed to be the best quality and value. I will most definitely be making more purchases from them in the future.I will update this review should any problems/issues develop with this beautiful tree.

Beautiful plant but way too mature and large compared to what I thought I was buying . The packaging was awesome though - very well done . It just didn’t look like the other ones people had received .

I couldn’t be more satisfied than the day I received my ponytail palm. Unfortunately, I did not see this message until today and have owned my beautiful ponytail palm for a couple of years now and she is still beautiful!! She has grown an inch or more, yet still vibrant and ready to be switched over to a bigger pot. I’m waiting for the sprouts to happen so I can begin to propagate and see if I’m a success with it.

Packageing and care while shipping were top notch. Ive ordered live plants before and im always so nervous becuase hakf the tine you do NOT get what you were expecting. Either the plant's broken or dead or the wrong plant. That was NOT THE CASE HERE. perfectly weighted and secured packaging. Clearly labeled live plants. The pot was in a securely wrapped bag and secured to a thick Styrofoam tray in a nice tall box so as to not bend or snap any of the leaves. Upon unwrapping a handful of soil ended up in the bottom of the bag but 99% of the soil was in the pot and still damp. I just added any spilled soil back to the pot and patted the soil back down so it wasn't loose. With a wipe of the outside and bottom of the pot and a quick spritz of water, my new plant was happy to find a spot on a shelf by the window. 10/10 healthy plant. Would definately buy again as a gift.

I have a black thumb and kill almost everything.I bought this for my office and first of all it's MUCH bigger than it appears in the picture. Very healthy. It was packed beautifully in a BUNCH of packing peanuts (ok that kind of sucked but it certainly protected the tree).I have gone for weeks without watering. The bulb at the bottom shrinks a little and it loses a couple of leaves. Other than that it looks awesome...very low maintenance plant and it looks really awesome. One thing (that hasn't really bothered me but something to be careful of) the pot doesn't hold much water and water runs out the bottom if you add too much. It doesn't seem to need too much water though so. Awesome.Edit March 2015: I can't believe it's still alive. I've left it for like 2 weeks when I was on vacation (it's in my office) and it survived. Plus it's about 30 degrees in my office (no lie, I have 2 space heaters right by me so I can move) and it's not dead yet. AMAZING!!Edit February 2017: Still haven't managed to kill it. Yet more weeks of not watering and living in my near-freezing-6-months-of-the-year office. It does get sunlight.September 2017: Still living. Can't believe it.
