I guess this is meant for people to clip directly between whatever accessory they're attaching to the brush/tree and the hitch/truck/atv they're using to pull. I haven't found a particularly unique use for it. The shrubs I'm removing are rarely close enough to an accessible area for me to run this short section between the truck and the grabbing accessory. I usually just wind up making a loop out of tugging chain with slip-hooks the necessary size. When attaching this to an accessory with a screw-shackle, somehow the little keeper tab on the hook took the load and snapped off. I'm not mad enough to return it, but don't find it to be very useful..

Used this with the BG-08 grubber, and it couldn't have worked better. I simply clipped it to the grubber and dropped the hoop over the 2" ball I had on my UTV and away I went. The chain held up perfectly well, no signs of stretching or stress to the chain or hoop.Update: I've been using this chain to pull large brush and small trees for over 2 years, with at least a few times leaving me thinking I'd busted the ring off the chain after a frame twisting yank, but the rings and chain still look almost new. Brush Grubber stuff has been the most durable of any tool or thing I've ever purchased.

This is the key part for getting into the deep brush without having to take the vehicle in there. Works well with the brush grubber xtreme and the clump grubber. The hitch ring will deform under load but holds its shape better than i had thought possible.

I bought this "Extreme" Tugger, thinking this was a heavy duty item. Do not be fooled. This is not a heavy duty item. I was pulling out shrubs, one at a time. IT BROKE!!!!! The large ring that goes over your ball broke. The only worse thing than buying this thing ,(labeled to be able to pull out small trees, and broke on a2 1/2 foot high shrub.) was the company did not stand behind it.They wont give me my money back, nor will they replace it.They want to give me the ring that broke. Well, the chain is solid, and so is the ring. You cant attach it. I asked for them to at least send me a clevis hook, so I can attach it. They said no. ????? What am I going to do with a solid white metal ring?????I showed them a picture of the shrub I was pulling out and it was not big. I was on blacktop, so they said it was "misuse, there is no slippage"How on earth do you pull out a tree then, if this cant handle a shrub?????The ring was not made of steel. It is made of garbage white metal. Another crappy product from Chinese materials.Whatever happened to using quality US steel? That would not have broken. If you are going to label something extreme, use quality materials to make it extreme. They didn't label old chains extreme. The chains made here with our steel. They were extreme, but they didn't need to talk you into it. It was a dam chain. Chains aren't supposed to break pulling out shrubs. I am sorry but this product is garbage, and the company showed me that they aren't worried about their reputation by telling me they wont replace it, or refund me. They want to get your money and run before it breaks.]Buy chain at a hardware store , or yard sale, and get a clevis hook, made here. Then you will have something of quality to pull with. Make it here in the US and I will pay the extra cost for a better product made with superior materials.Product idea, AProduct quality FReputable Company???? NO
