Machine is easy to set up; limited options but sufficient for my needs. However, though resolution can be adjusted for outgoing faxes (standard/fine/extra-fine), this is not possible for incoming faxes, and I find the 400x400 dot-matrix printout unreadable in many cases for work purposes (eg, trying to decipher phone numbers). Probably good if details are not essential, but if they are, get a machine with better print resolution.

This is my first FAX machine. I bought it just as a convenience (home use) item. I don't get or receive that many faxes or make copies but running back & forth to the bank & library to FAX or copy something was always a chore. Then I came across this baby at Amazon.com for $59.95 w/free shipping & a $30.00 rebate and ONE YEAR WARRANTY: how could I go wrong? And I was NOT disappointed. It does just what I need without all the bells, whistles & hoopla some of the other machines do. It's compact, nice looking, easy to set-up & use (even for me). Read the instruction manual FIRST as I did & everything will go smoothly. For $30.00 I may buy a couple for Christmas gifts (better than a toaster....). Some of the other reviews were negative in that the copies "were not the best", but I have no complaints. They're readily readable & suitable for home use. As for me, I'm satisfied. Some say you only get what you pay for but in this case it is A REAL BARGAIN.......

I am really happy with this little fax machine, perfect for what I needed. I read other reviews before buying and was a little concerned about quality - not anymore. If you are looking for a high-volume fax then you should be looking at higher priced faxes. If you are looking for a home fax this is PERFECT. It is a wonderful size, easy to use, set up was so easy I thought I must have missed something. I think this is a real good buy!

This model is pretty old and uncomfortable for use. However, it can make copies and send and receive faxes.Caller ID screen changes every second and makes it hard to see the number.I have Panasonic phone and use fax for its direct work only. It does it.

We gave our old fax macine to my dad and definately needed another. I came across this one on Amazon w/ free shipping and a nice rebate. It's not top of the line, or it wouldn't be so economical, but for the price, it is just fine! I found the printer refills, also on Amazon, for an awsome price as well. You get what you pay for. If you just need a fax for home, mostly for sending ,or making the occasional copy ,and receiving the occasional fax, and you're on a tight budget, this is the machine for you! Have a blessed day!

This is a very good basic fax/copier. It will handle most jobs for a small home office and it's easy to use. Just don't send a large (50 page) fax to it or you will use all your ink in one shot.

In order to work out of my home, I needed a simple fax so I dont have to go to an office to pick up or send paperwork. I literally plugged it in & was receiving/sending faxes w/ minimal confusion. Anyone who is giving low scores for quality ...what the heck to you expect? Titanium parts? I would rather have the less expensive parts with a less expensive price. Its your choice as the consumer.I am extremely pleased! If I have any problems in the future with this fax, I will be sure to post again.
