✔Operation
- An ultrasonic sound to repel animals. It is activated when an animal enters the motion detector range and then the animals feel uncomfortable and will run away from the area.
- Note: Different animals, even of the same species, may have varied reactions to each mode of the repellent. Should you find a particular mode ineffective, we recommend trying others to find the most suitable one. This process might require some patience, as identifying the optimal setting can take time – typically around two weeks. Experimenting with various modes is key to achieving the best results with the animal repellent.
- A LED flashing light to scare animals. The LED flashing light will be activated when an animal enters the area, then the animal will be scared and flee away. For better performance, an alarm sound is added to scare animals
✔SET UP
- “Sensitivity” (Left): adjust the sensitivity and distance. By turning the knob clockwise, you increase the range of protection
- “Frequency” (Right): to adjust the frequency. By turning the knob clockwise, the frequency will be increased. “Frequency” Knob position comes as below:
- 1: 13.5-19.5 KHZ to repel animals such as deer, dogs, foxes
- 2: 14.5-24.5 KHZ to repel animals such as cats, raccoons, squirrels, badgers, skunks
- 3: 24.5-45.5 KHZ to repel animals such as Squirrels, big birds, rodents
- 4: Alarm and LED flashing light to scare wild animals
- 5: Ultrasonic sound and LED flashing light

- Infrared sensor angle: 110 degrees
- Detection range: 20-25 feet depending on animal’s size
- Power supply: solar power +3x Ni-mH rechargeable batteries which are charged by USB cord which is included. During charging, don’t turn on the repellent
- If there are a few days cloudy or rainy in a row, you can charge the item via USB cord
✔Battery issues
- Please charge the battery before installing the repellent.
- No need to charge the batteries multiple times. In some user manuals, it is mistakenly mentioned to charge the batteries several times.

So, I got this little gadget hoping it would keep unwanted critters out of my yard, and honestly, it does a decent job. The motion detection works pretty well. The ultrasonic sound is not noticeable to me, but I assume it’s working because I’ve definitely seen fewer raccoons and squirrels around. The solar charging is a nice touch since I don’t have to worry about replacing batteries constantly. I did have to play around with the sensitivity settings to get it just right, but once I found the sweet spot, it worked much better. It’s also waterproof, which is a must since I have it outside all the time. The build quality is decent nothing fancy, but it holds up. If you’re dealing with annoying animals sneaking into your yard, this is definitely worth trying, now I have my tomatoes save!

I recently got the Broox 2024 Upgraded Solar Animal Repellent to keep squirrels, raccoons, and stray cats out of my garden, and I couldn’t be happier with it! Buy the Broox Solar Animal Repellent device!! First off, the entire Broox Team has been a wonderful Company to do business with! They have provided me with EXCELLENT Customer Service!! Secondly, this product of theirs, is a wonderful, yet simple device to use! I have multiple repellent devices placed in various locations of my yard, to rid a Feral cat problem! So far, I am very very pleased with the results that I have gotten! The devices have a very powerful solar panel on the top, that keeps the batteries constantly charged! I am using the selector switch on option #4, which provides quite a loud siren noise, as well as a fairly bright flashing strobe, that lasts approximately 20 seconds or more! The motion detector of this device is very sensitive, and has a great angle of detection! The range of detection goes out quite far, and the sensitivity is adjustable! I would highly recommend these Broox Solar Animal Repellent devices to anyone trying to rid an animal problem on their property! I am truly very pleased, and happy with my decision to go with Broox! You would be too, so give them a try at helping you!! I don't think you would make a mistake by buying Broox!!!

Me encantaron, ya llego como 8 meses con ellos y siguen al 100%, ninguna popo en mi jardín por los gatos. Es importante posicionarlos de manera estratégica según donde entran los gatos para que se active. El único detalle es que cuando hay viento se mueven mis plantas y los activa, a mi no me molesta escuchar el ruido, me preocupa que se descarguen pero no ha ocurrido a pesar de eso.

Thanks for the fast delivery, well packaged as well.This is a solar charged device, so I expected to have to buy NiCad batteries, but they were already included, which was a nice surprise! So far it seems to be working as expected.

I live near a forest where there are many monkeys and they keep coming to our house to steal food and it was such a nuisance. I bought 5 of these and place at different locations around the house but it does not help. The monkeys still come and even get close to the device
