I am so happy with my purchase! I have a very high reactive/ anxiety blue nose who had a hard time with the vets office. I ordered this muzzle to help ease this process and keep everyone safe. The muzzle fits perfectly on him. He’s able to drink water, eat treats, and he can keep it on with no problems at all during our commute, the visit, and the way home. He seems comfortable using it. I’m not one to write reviews but I am so happy with this muzzle I had to!

Looks scary, but when traning a previously abused pit, probably a good thing. Holes are big enough to allow treats, and sits comforatbly on their face. Super breathable, lasts a while. My dogs don't really mess with trying to take it off following muzzle training so I can't speak to that. Easy to put on and remove following the initial sizing of it. Used this mainly when out on walks due to other dogs not having manners or personal space awarness, and when going to get nails trimmed for the first couple times. Made vet staff feel safer knowing my pet had been abused by her previous owners.

My dog hates going to the vet and the moment he walks in the office he is ready to leave; so his fight or flight instincts kick into high gear. I needed a muzzle that was not only strong, but comfortable and breathable for him. His safety and the safety of the staff is of the upmost importance. When touched in certain areas of his body he would snap unless it is me touching him. This muzzle not only stayed in place during his reactivity, but it kept him safe from getting hurt and the staff did not get bit. They loved it so much they asked for the name to order some for their practice. Trust me he puts up a fight and he knows how to get the muzzles off. This one however was A++++ he could not wiggle it off no matter what. Once the appointment was done, I removed it and it left no markings on his nose or around the eyes. It is easy to put on, the straps allow you to tighten or lossen easily and it looks great. If you have a high reactive dog this is the muzzle for you.

I confess I didn’t measure our Staffie’s snout prior to purchasing but I did look at the reviews with photos. There was many pictures and good reviews with dogs who looked just like our girl so I bought it.First off, I slowly introduced it to our girl. First day I put a few treats in it and let her sniff it and see it. Next day I used peanut butter on the inside and was able to distract her with the peanut butter long enough to get it on her. After she licked the thing clean she realized she wanted the cage on her face off of her so she leveraged the ground, took one paw and in one slick motion slid the thing right off. Zero struggle on her part.I feel like this muzzle doesn’t fit her. I am going to try again tomorrow with the peanut butter and tighten the straps more. I will update this review if we’re able to get it on her and have this thing do what we bought to do.Which is highly important because as of right now, we’re living with keeping our 15yr old pit completely away from our young girl who we bought this for. We’ve had her just over a year. She was 5mo old when we got her. She grew up with our older girl. But in the last two months, the young one has become fiercely protective of her human family and her food and when she senses that either one are being threatened, she attacks our older dog. Our older one won’t be with us much longer and is unable to defend herself anymore. The last attack scared me so much that I have ptsd from having to pry the young one off my older ones face. It was truly horrible. If myself and my Son hadn’t been right there to get her off the older dog, she would have killed her. At first I wanted to get rid of the younger one. But after talking to some trainers we discovered that this is pretty much par for the course with a female Staffie. They are fiercely loyal to their humans and often dog aggressive. So the plan is to muzzle our young girl and socialize her into being around other dogs without attacking. So it’s imperative that whatever tool we get to assist us with this is something our dog cannot get off.

Measurement guide was accurate and it fit perfectly. Plenty of room for adjustment. However this is not a muzzle to be worn for long periods of time. Not enough room to pant, eat, or drink. Used for a quick vet visit and it did the job. Appears quite durable and I like the neoprene padding for the nose bridge.

I got this muzzle for my dog Kobe, who is a strong and powerful pup not used to being around people. It worked perfectly for taking him to the vet for his shots. The metal basket design feels sturdy and secure, and the adjustable leather straps made it easy to get a comfortable fit for him.It allowed him to pant and breathe comfortably while still keeping everyone safe, which gave me peace of mind during the vet visit. If you have a large, strong dog like mine who needs a reliable muzzle, I highly recommend this one!

Fits well on my purebred APT. Excellent quality even my dog trainer approves, says it's a really good one. Well worth the money. Easy to put on, take off and my dog isn't overly happy with it when he's wearing it but he doesn't try to desperately get it off his face.

I have a 6month old XL bully and it’s fantastic. Great leather thick straps for durability and lovely pink colour and it’s a great fit. Very much recommend this considering I’ve purchased 3 plastic muzzles all of which went in the bin. Very happy

So our dog has a biting problem, wants to (try) to eat anything it sees as a threat, and this muzzle is a new daily to help fix that. Works great with our training. We've gone through muzzles of multiple types and this is the first one we've been able to use on him without him either yanking it off (no matter how secure it was) breaking it or chewing it to pieces.It fits great, he can eat treats through it, pant, drink, and interact without much issues at all. We use small treats so it was a learning curve for how to feed him through the top so he gets the treat without it falling through the bottom.He has a tendency to rub his face into things when he rolls, and while the muzzle is on if he rubs a lot it will rub his nose however the leather has done a great job of keeping him from hurting himself bashing it into things. (He's a very clumsy dog and normally wacks his head and tail into things all the time)The straps go AROUND the head as well as each side and his nose so it can be a snug fit that keeps from getting pawed off.Absolutely a great find,
