Works great removing adult brine shrimp from my brine shrimp culturing setup and equally removing Tigriopus from my copepod culturing setup.

Works as it should for thawing frozen fish food such as brine shrimp and blood worms, however I find it's not easy at all to remove the food once it's thawed. Would be nice if it came with some sort of solid cup to sit it into that allowed you to net out the food or suck it up or something.Because of this, I went back to using my brine shrimp net. I can use that easier, and just flip it into my feed cup once I am done. When I use this, I find myself spending quite a few minutes trying to suck out the food using a 5mil dropper. However, I would buy again. I am positive as a hobbyist I will need this in my journey regardless.

I hatch and raise brine shrimp for fun, and as an aquarium food source. These make it easy to do water changes to the shrimp colony, and transferring hatchlings to the colony from the hatchery. I'm starting to culture phytoplankton as well and am waiting to see if the finest sieve can filter as well. These will last a long time!

I first saw this product in one of Master Breeder Dean's videos and he claimed to have been using it for 40 years. I can see why. This thing is a beast. It is just compact enough for easy handling but unfortunately it is not large enough for my liking but if you ration your brine shrimp hatchery outflow and rinse it as you go, you should be a ok. I think what I will do in the future is buy another set and put them side by side. I honestly do not know what the other sieves are for but I will hold on to them just in case. They look like they are for live foods I will never grow out ever so maybe I will repurpose them for something like a baby fish sieve, I don't know. Difference between ordering a 4 set vs 1 sieve + shipping is negligible so why not buy entire set? Just do it. I have nothing but positive things to say. It has been easy to wash, easy to handle... I just wish it was like 25% taller or wider. I know brine shrimp direct sells the green one so down the road maybe I will get that one. In the time being I will continue putting major use on this one. Very sturdy and will probably last like 40 years like Dean says.

I love these little screen sieves for sorting and rinsing my live foods for my aquarium fish. I can even sort for size by stacking then when rinsing.

I use these to screen crushed stones for jewelry making. The screens are not noticeably different so I measured and they're both the exact same size screen. Still works for my purposes but I do have to use a wire strainer on top of the set to ensure that all the coarsest bits are sorted out.

Using to separate newly hatched brine shrimp from shells or other matter. It works great.
