Is pretty expensive but lasts for a long time. Makes a permanent mark, does take a little bit to figure out the best laser parameters though.

Brilliance products always work pretty darn well if you follow directions.I do not do a lot of red metal, but I do do a lot of stainless, and it works well to leave a brownish copper colored marking which is substantially darker than it would be without it.I had to play around with settings to kind of find My "sweet spot, then it was smooth sailing..The product works pretty well with both a Co2 laser, and a fiber laser.

For the price I was expecting it to be a bit larger amount. But I should have read the description better. We were laser engraving names on zippo lighters and as I said it worked well on stainless steel.

Works as described. Takes a little learning but looks great when you apply it correctly to correct material.

Laser marking spray is wildly expensive, and this is no exception - the 2oz can is only small enough for one or two projects, so be very conscious of whether you might ever want more product before ordering it. (There's a can with 6x as much product available for less than 2x the price, for example, and Brilliance also sells powders and liquids that can be more cost effective than the aerosols.) If you're looking for a tester before committing, this might be a good solution, but otherwise I'd steer you towards one of the larger containers. This is an unusual product in the world of laser marking chemicals because it cures to a kind of rust-like, burned copper tone color. (It's definitely not cherry red.) This would be good if you wanted to add a faux weathered engraving onto something, in particular - I could see lots of art or themed entertainment uses for this spray. I think it's less useful for general purpose marking, as in many applications the black spray will be more legible and will 'pop' more cleanly when engraved.Like the other Brilliance products I've tried, this engraves well and produces clean results on my 45W Muse CO2 laser. The spray is certainly easy to apply and it's a convenient form factor, so it is worth a little bit of a price premium. I just think the asking price for the 2oz can is a little too high, and suggest going for the 12oz if you do want an aerosol.

For the price I paid I thought it was the full 12oz size instead of the 2 oz
