HOW TO-
The Lightview is really lightweight and is simple to put together. It comes with only four pieces that snap into place with each other easily, and also includes a simple instruction diagram to show how the parts fit together.
The On/Off switch is conveniently located at the top of the gooseneck, near the lens. The lamp is plugin operated and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets.

WHAT TO KNOW-
The lens of the Lightview Flex is approximately 3 inches wide (in its housing, the total width is 5 inches). The lamp's gooseneck measures 13.5 inches long and it lets you adjust the height of the lamp from anywhere between 6 and 16 inches tall.
The clamp can be used on a desk up to approximately 2.5 inches and the lamp's cord is just under 5 feet long.

So far it’s petting good the light is really bright that a plus the only issue I have is the base. Wish it was able to lock into place and and the weight seems to make a lean a bit. But if you add something at the base it will hold. Luckily I had a candle and placed it at the base to keep it from leaning. But wish I didn’t have to do that bc the base can be used for other things.

I have just gotten into Diamond painting, and I can honestly say that using this lamp with magnifying glass has really made it so much easier!! No need for a back light pad under the painting, no need to squint. No more sore eyes... Because of this product, I could literally go on and on till the wee hours of the night. This took my addiction to a whole new level..!!! This product is highly recommended. It's sleek and durable. You can use the stand or clip it to the table, which is easier for me. The light is bright... and I'm confident that this lamp will last for many years to come!!

Product works fine, does as expected and is of good quality. 4 stars simply for the reason that there is no mention I can see of needing an adapter as this only comes with a American style 2 prong plug. Other than that, great product and excellent to work with.

I am just embarking on making necklaces with beads, wire and chain and I often need to look closely at various parts of the process. This works perfectly for that. In addition, it renders colors faithfully and it lets me see things I couldn't see with other forms of lighting. I find myself using it more often than I expected. It sure beats using a handheld magnifier to see tiny print and when my husband got a splinter in his finger last week, it was easy for me to see where it was still sticking out from under the skin, so I could use a finely-pointed tweezers to pull it out.Very solidly built, easy to use and adjut, takes up very little space on my desk without using the clamp, and lets me work to the side of my main work area without having to get out of my chair. Highly recommend!

I recently got into miniature painting and needing a magnifying glass to paint all these small pieces. I got the 2.25x magnifier and it worked great. The LED lights are great and very helpful. My power was out during the day, but I got this magnifier and plugged it into a battery backup I had and that was the only light I had other than sunlight coming through the windows, and it was enough. See the pics for magnification. The 2.25x really does help quite a bit. I was able to paint fingers, and small joints, etc.CONS: Not much of a con, but I thought it was powered via USB, but it is just a standard 2-prong connection. I had a small battery backup I wanted to use that connects USB, but since the magnifier was 2-prong, I had to use a different battery pack. So not a huge concern and most people wont care. Another "con" is the base is nice and heavy, but when the lamp is bent at certain angles, it can still tip over. Again, this is a small con, and not a deal breaker at all, but thought I would note it. I was painting a mini and adjusted the magnifier and it tipped over while I was painting. So, just dont stretch the goose neck out all the way horizontal and you should be fine. Just something to be aware of.Overall, a great purchase I am happy with.
