Dipping into home brewing. Very happy with this. This had great instructions, very good quality ingredients. All in all, just a very cool first brewing experience and Brewer's Best made it enjoyable, easier, and resulted in a high quality beer. Highly recommend.

The Brewer's Best is simply the best kit you can buy, trust me I tried them all.The downsides are the price and volume, other kits offer more beer and are cheaper and maybe a little easier to make. If your like me and want a beer, where people tell me that was the best beer they ever had, then just buy one. My favourite is the Cream Ale, I have one brewing now. I just bought the Irish Stout and haven't tried it yet, its one of the few I haven't tried. It might become my next favourite.

Never will I ever use this company again. I've been brewing beer for over 20 years . The yeast did not activate. Must of been old or dead. All that money and five gallons of beer down the drain !!!

All the ingredients came in perfect condition. The yiest is fresh considering it expires in 2023. Instructions are very clear. You just need a big pot, sanitizer and a fermenter.I will brew tomorrow, and will update once the beer is ready for consumption.Edit: In brew day I had a very strong fermentation going on after just a couple of hours. However, after the first 48 hours final gravity was high (1.020), and after 2 weeks of fermentation final gravity has not changed (added extra yeast on day 10, but had no effect) 1.020, which means I may get 3% alcohol beer. Maybe the extract wasn't very fresh? This seems to be a common problem with extract kits, but it is nevertheless disappointing. The taste is gorgeous though. If you've ever visited the "porterhouse" in Dublin, this tastes really close to their "hophead".

Because Irish Stouts are amazing! Not bitter at all, very smooth. Perfect carbonation and the instructions are easy to follow.
