My Neuro surgeon issued me one of these, which I am supposed to wear until September 10, 2024 but cannot as it has called apart completely after multiple times of super gluing bake down the Velcro , not even gorilla glue could repair it for 6+ time

As credentials go, I am a chiropractor. Most of my patient base would never need a cervical collar. However I do have some who need a cervical collar. I also do a lot of Personal Injury work which means motor vehicle collisions & injuries, and if I was coaching a lawyer in regards to a patient presentation (who wasn't mine) and they were wearing this collar and complaining about problems I would tell them how bad this collar is for actually stabilizing and unstable neck. Conceptually I like some of the aspects of this design, but it does not give the amount of stability as an Aspen brace would for the same price.If you are suffering from a neck injury, EDS or other instability in the upper neck, this is not the brace to buy.Judges and lawyers, if you see this brace in your court room, and they are complaining of lots and lots of problems you really need a third-party evaluation of that patient because this neck brace will not help them even if they have real problems.
