This is the exact size needed if you want to mount an LCS pad. I was going to just purchase a cheap Chinese brand pic rail but most of those do not have recoil lugs underneath them which help lock the accessory down and keep it from moving. Plus, for the price why would you not just go with BCM?

Awesome rails! I’ve tested three different brands of Keymod rails and these were by far my favorite. They have molding that locks into the keymod rail that prevents backward pressure from knocking the rail loose. This also prevents the rails from falling off with temperature changes attributed to firing the rifle. Only complaint is I feel that for the price and material (Nylon) these rails are a tad overpriced but I can’t complain too much because they work so well.

I used this for a light mount on two of my AR's. It is lightweight and stays put. It was easy to install on my keymod rails and my lights have not moved. I also used them to mount forward vertical Magpul grips, which held up to the recoil without coming loose. Definitely recommend if you are trying to keep your weapons lightweight without compromising strength.

Although expensive for a piece of plastic, it beats out all the meta rails you see for the same price!!
