Every home needs one. Easy, reliable, non-invasive, quick, and I assume accurate. Love the color coding; green = no fever, yellow = low fever, red = fever. Can take a child’s temp in the dark, without waking them.

It is not accurate at all and the return process was such a pain I didn't even bother. Don't buy this. It was a waste of money. I know my normal Temps and it would constantly give results of like 93 - 95ish and that was way off. Not only from my Temps from the doctor but from my Temps with my mouth thermometer. So don't waste your money on this. Unless you're willing to pay a lot more for one that works I would suggest sticking to mouth thermometers.

I purchaed this model which was 15 dollars more expansive then other models thinking I am getting a accurate reading which is not so this one too is not accurate just like the other cheaper models you still have to use the regular digital model to have exact temperature

This product is easy to use, but does not beep to let you know when it is finished recording the temp. I called Braun and was told that the beep is too high frequency for most people to hear. Since I like the item better than others I have tried, I just set my phone for 10 seconds once I start it, so don't mind that I cannot hear the beep. I actually did hear a very faint beep when I installed the batteries

Just got a new one of these using my FSA funds to replace our old one. We had the older model of this and it worked great for about 4 years and then started reading inaccurately low. I was happy enough with the accuracy and longevity that I bought it again.

The LCD is slightly broken upon receipt. Still working though. We did not bother to return as it took time to be delivered and we already needed it
