The horn is not completely chrome plated. Just inside the bell the chrome stops. There are also places where the chrome is dull and scuffed. There were machine marks on the bell area. The bottom valve covers are pitted. Played for a few days and couldn't clean out via spit valve. I took apart the valve only to find that the drain hole hadn't been drilled through the tube. I was wondering why I had spit coming out the bell. Now I know why. I would recommend avoiding this instrument. There has to be others out there at this price point in far better condition.
