Most tools not helpful. I was able to do most work with needle nose vise grips and a couple screwdriver.

Did rear drums on a 96 Toyota 4runner. The tools in this kit helped with removing and installing the return springs and with installing the brake shoe hold down springs, the ones with round retaining cups and little metal pins.

Great kit. I watched some youtube DIYs on how each of the tools works. Made changing my drums a snap! Worth every penny not trying to jimmy-rig parts to fit without using this kit.
