If you do brakes a lot, get something higher quality. It’s fine for the quick occasional use. It got the job done the one time I’ve used it, but the plastic handle wanted to unscrew from the metal screw bit. Just an annoying threading thing.

In the past, I would use a big C-clamp to push the brake piston back in and it was a bit awkward to use, but using this spreader, it makes the job so ridiculously easy and fast. Great asset for DIY brake changes.
