This item is good so your toes are out in the air and to help prevent you damaging your toes, even more, but being unlevel with this particular boot, and your one regular shoe brings another set of problems when you’re walking pains in your legs and then your hip sold to those who my purchase this item are you going to wear them? Don’t walk too far in them.

Broke my toe. Doc suggested a walking boot like this and this one worked great for my size 13 whompers.

I have purchased 2 other offloading shoes on Amazon over the last couple of years. The first one while ok, was cheaply made and was not as comfortable as this one. The other arrived in an open package and used (could clearly see thr foot imprint in it). So I was skeptical on this one. To my surprise this one arrived on time unopened. It is well made and while none are comfortable this on was not bad. Have worn it for around 2 weeks now and it is holding up well.

Just started using this "backup" shoe this week after strap broke on first one with 6 weeks intermittent use. Today I fell when outer/side edge of the tall heel section collapsed causing my foot to tilt and roll outward. I weigh 235 - a bit heavy but not uncommon for 6'4" male. Fortunately no serious injury just a minor ankle sprain. Started using this spare 4 days ago because of a new deep puncture wound through my cheap boots.Features that work but could be improved: ankle strap velcro is too long and only has small patch to attach to, and the flaps under the strap could be greatly improved with some padding to avoid the bruising from strap I've developed. AND, strengthen the sides of the raised heel so they don't collapse and fail to support weight of user.UPDATE:Ordered replacement exactly a week ago, new shoe had a stronger heel stucture and slightly better sizing on velcro parts, but stitching on one side fell apart and my foot slipped off the side of the shoe platform and caused me to fall - again, after only about 4 days using the new and "improved" shoe.Back to using a regular shoe until I can order something else.

The pic is of the replacement shoe I had ordered . it has the same defect as the first one. The sole on one side is hollow and collapses. The one in the pic was worn for 2 days. The first one I wore a week and the side totally collapsed . I saw the replacement start to do the same thing so I stopped using it. The first unit caused my wound to open up as it was making it lean to the right . I did not understand at first why I was having the pain. Then the sole on the right side collapsed altogether to the point I could see clearly it was the shoe. It would be a good shoe if the defect was fixed . It fit well and felt good when wearing it.

The comfort level was not good. I am wearing the first one I purchased 3 months ago. Look at the pictures after one week of wearing the second pair I recently purchased. Did I get lucky on the first pair or just got a lemon for the second pair. in two places. I wore the first one purchased for 3 months. The new one less than a week. Today I put the old one back on. My ankle was also tilting outward on the second one I ordered. Extremely disappointed. The first one really helped my foot ulcer and hammer toe. I was going to end up spraining my ankle with the later order
