There are dozens of small range bags here on Amazon. Almost all are polyester or nylon. Many with thousands of reviews.This wonderfully constructed bag with a lifetime warranty is made of waxed canvas and will make heads turn. Be prepared to be bombarded with people at your range wanting to see it and know where you got it.

I really wanted this to be the perfect range bag for me, but it was just too small. I love the Boyt quality, and it’s a very well made bag, so I gave it to a friend . She says it’s right on target for her needs. ( no pun intended)

2 guns, 4 boxes of ammo, 6 mags and a few other odds and ends all fit in this well made bag. A bit pricey, but that's the breaks.If the front pocket had gussets (i.e., expandable) and the velcro loop on the front was a little longer, this would have been a 5 star item. As it is, it's still the best bag I've found yet. I've got bigger bags for all day range outings, but for a quick trip with one or two pistols, this bag is it.

I usually use this for a 1911 and a Ruger Mark II which was fine until I added a red-dot to the Mark II. It will fit if I put it down the rail a bit, but not if I have it over the grips. Not a big deal, but it's better balanced over the grip.

This bag will hold two handguns, four 50 round boxes of ammo, ear muffs, eye protection, six magazines and small sized cleaning products. For me it is the perfect bag to take what I need to the range. If you are looking for a range bag to carry everything including the kitchen sink you should consider a larger bag. It also has a velcro strap on the side of the bag to attach an additional accessory bag or device. The gun pouches in the bag are padded with soft fabric to protect the finish on your handgun. The canvas, zipper, and stitching on this bag are good quality. I have used Boyt luggage for over 20 years without any failures on any of their products. It is a little more expensive than other brands of the same size, but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a brand that lasts, I recommend Boyt. They have been making products for our military since WW-I. If it is good enough for our boys in uniform, then it is good enough for me.

This range bag is a quality product, as is all Boyt products. If you intend to use this bag as your main range bag I would suggest a larger bag. This bag is wonderful for taking two weapons ( pistols ) with a few extra magazines to the range, but you are going to need a duffle size bag to put this bag into along with your ammo and saftey gear. This is a very nice bag that protects your weapons and magazines from what ever else you might have in your larger duffle size bag. The price is a little steep, but as I said the quality is there. Something nice you could pass down to your kids one day. So don't be a carp and go for the quality! Your Welcome: Pops from Brew City!

Like all Boyt Harness products, this 13X7 Range Kit Case is high-quality. The material is strong cloth and leather (maybe) trim. The design is great. It holds 2 hand guns and accessories (plenty of ammo, ear protectors, glasses, etc. All this and it doesn't take up a lot of space.It's well worth the money if this is what you need.

I already had one Boyt soft pistol case. The one I had is 6"X9", but would've been a little small for my new Colt 1911- full size. Boyt soft cases/ range bags are very rugged and very well made, I just wanted one a little bigger. The outside is tough and the inside is soft flannel. I love the outside lg. pocket and especially the magazine pockets. The only thing I wish I had known: although it might not seem so, 13x7 is MUCH bigger than the one I had. It can EASILY carry 3 full sized handguns plus mags and ammo. I feel the "slots" inside that separate the 2 or 3 guns you're carrying could've been better designed, that's why 4 rather than 5 stars. I DON'T look at it as a "range kit case," I see it as a HUGE gun carrying case and if that's what you want, spend the extra money, this thing will last forever. The carry handle is good, and you can put a padlock on it if so desired. To sumarize: I would and probably will get another Boyt.
