Just used this on the last long trip and it works great. I was able to put a big suitcase and two small suitcases in the bag, zipped and tied down.The bonus is even with this bag on top of the basket sitting on the rooftop of the Subaru, I was able to drive the whole thing into the garage.

This is the second time I’ve used this product. Reason I bought second was to give it a chance. It does not last. Tears and cracks easily. Wasted my money

purchased right before summer vacation, it is a little hard to get the straps all tight and takes a few adjustments, however it held up on a 9 hr drive 7days being on the roof it the sun, salt water and a 30min rain. the only complaint is ours leaked water during the raining i had it on the roof all strapped down, zipped , with the velcro flap covering all of the zipper. one other suggestion is they need to put bigger eyelets on the zipper so a lock can go through them the only lock i could get to fit was a plastic/thin metal one made for small luggage/handbags which can easily be twisted and broke .

After many many years of using many different top carriers and hating them all, this one is finally for us! We are 76 years old and it was so easy and lightweight to put on the car, fill it up and attach the 6 side tie downs to our car top side rails! The ties are so well made not some thin material you’d fear would break. This carrier is made with high quality materials and is actually stylish! It’s not some flimsy piece of junk so we have no fear that this won’t stay put on top of the car using the side to top rail tie downs only. They give you 6 extra ties if you’re using a basket too but we put it right on the car roof. It met all of our needs, it’s roomy and easy as can be to zip. We love it!

Great bag for the cost. We took it up north for a 9 hour drive and it performed great. The stuff inside stayed protected. For the return trip, we drove through a couple of heavy rain pours and none of the stuff inside got wet. I would not pack expensive electronics inside, but for clothing and food items this worked awesome. Mind you, I was a little anxious about how the included straps would perform so I also strapped the bag down to the trailer hitch travel carrier with two heavy duty straps for extra safety. If only thing about the product that I might criticize is the strapping instructions. I found them a little unclear.

bag is still new but its construction is better than anticipatedhas good zippers and also an overflap to help keep water outcant say how durable it is but it appears to be more than sufficient for my occassional needstrue test will be winter when conditions and salt will be much worse but expecting this bag to do well

This bag is perfect for my cargo rack on my car. It holds lots of items and is a good sturdy bag. It is also waterproof so my items stay dry.

Used this for a trip from Oregon to Montana. This was really sturdy (drove anywhere from 45-80 mph). Was kinda hard to zip when fully loaded. Drove in rain and everything stayed dry. A bit noisy due shape/straps, but after a while didn’t notice. Did affect mileage as we had a full load on top of a Tahoe. Easy to put on and take off. Had to buy a lock, just in case. Overall it did a good job, at a good cost, for what we needed.

Oh my goodness, I loved this thing! I drove cross-country, and over the period of 10 days, we got caught in four torrential downpours and thunderstorms. It was intense, but my stuff stayed completely dry. I had absolutely no leaking. And it stayed firmly in place, just with the ties provided. Didn't move an inch. I was very impressed, and so thankful I made the investment. I am convinced I will be using this guy for years to come. High quality, high durability, and easy to use. My only complaint is that the pull tab on one of the zippers broke, so I have to hold it differently when I close it. This is hard when it's full, but a relative non-issue when only semi-full. Such a sad, small detail, but it makes a big difference, lol.It did reduce my gas mileage, but only by about 3-5 miles/gallon- so not bad! And there were no security features on this thing, unless you wanted to padlock the strings together, which could be cut through easily. But no one tried, so I was happy.Thank you guys for making an amazing product! It made my move across country so much easier and less cramped. I have a suggestion: Mayme make one that is a little more aerodynamic? Not sure why the large end was in the front instead of the back, or why it was so square when you had opportunity to make it a little longer and less tall. But oh well.

Although we have not used the cargo bag in the rain yet it seems waterproof, well made and sturdy. Super fast delivery. Worked well with the 3 recycled containers in the bottom to fill with things and still room for 2 sets of golf clubs on top of them. Would highly recommend!!

Got it just before the annual Spring Break drive to FLA. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was one of the smarter purchases I’ve made sight-unseen. It held two suitcases, a large duffel bag and a beach towel bag with plenty room to spare. Click-in straps were easy to adjust on the roof rack to make a snug fit. Oh, and on the way home it rained (hard) for the last three hours, but everything was bone-dry inside when we got home.One thing to consider, if you’re staying overnight somewhere (like we did at a hotel), I don’t know of a way to keep it secure other than to put the rear seats down in the back seat, undo the straps and move the whole thing in thru the rear hatch door. Luckily I had an extra set of hands to help me remove it to put it in/take back out in the morning, which only took about two minutes. But obviously if you’re buying this, you’re traveling with enough luggage for multiple people so it’s not a huge deal, especially considering how much less expensive it is than getting a locking hardshell cargo container.Anyway, like I said - very smart buy, you won’t regret it!
