Looks like the back piece will fall off while it's in use. Unsure and takes up a lot of space so I'm Returning it.

Bought this, because it’s from Bostitch and I’ve had bad experiences from no-name brands..The stapler is easy to use and load with staples..It’s advertised to staple up to 60 sheets. I stapled 50 something pages without any problems. And I suspect I can probably staple a little bit more than 60 pages at a time..I don’t think this came with staples, or at least I can’t recall. But I bought staples, so that’s not a problem. Besides, I bought a stapler, NOT a stapler WITH staples..Only improvement I can see with this product is if they used a bit more durable materials for construction. Some more metal parts or heavier gauge plastic materials for the housing? Some extra weight would have made this product more “solid” and durable. But you get what you pay for… I’m fine with what I purchased.

I bought this stapler in July 2023 and have used it sparingly since then. It now appears irreversibly jammed. The staples, about an inch worth, will not come back out the loading entrance. When I watch from the front of the stapler the metal plate that comes down when you staple and should hit the top of the front staple instead slides past in front of it. I've tried to pull the staples forward to no avail. Sadly disappointed in what is supposed to be an anti-jam stapler.

This Stanley Bostitch Stapler costs over $30.00. It's hard to open, hard to close, and it did not deliver what it claimed to do, staple through 60 sheets of paper...it couldn't staple through 10 receipts! My dollar store stapler works better. I'd give it no stars if I could.0/10 would not recommend 👎

We bought this probably 5 years ago and it gets a lot of use and abuse from my husband. It finally quite working, but for the money you can't beat it.

This is NOT the heavy duty stapler that it is advertised to be. It jammed the first time my wife used it (granted, she goes through staplers like #2 pencils, but that's why I spent the bucks to get one that wasn't, supposedly, flimsy). The irony here: it has an "anti-jam" mechanism! And worse, there is no way to open it from the top to remove the staples! Or maybe there is, but it does not come with directions! I had to pry them out from the bottom with pliers.Further, the staple-feeding cover on the other end is nearly impossible to open, OR close. So it fails at both ends.Redeeming quality: it is very nice looking and rugged. As a door-stop, it will probably last forever.

I read the reviews about the troubles some people have had and I don't get it. This is the third stapler of this exact same kind I have purchased for my two offices and we've never had a problem, except that in extreme weather conditions, the handle snapped off (guess it got too cold, but then it was below freezing!) I've even used non Bostitch staples and multiple users and have had no problem. Can't beat the price!

This stapler is attractive and works very well. I have some concern about its long-term operation. The mechanism for inserting staples seems somewhat flimsy, but so far I have not had any problems. It staples 60 sheets with only moderate pressure, and apart from the staple insert release seems very sturdy.

I bought this stapler because my old Swingline finally jammed so bad I couldn't revive it. I wanted a stapler that I couldn't kill for my home office. Since I'm often stapling several sheets together this seemed like a good choice. So far I'm very happy with it.It's a good size and has a very sturdy feel to it. I got these to go along with it and have tried stapling about 15 pages without any problem. I've posted some photos on this site so you can see the size. It's definitely bigger than my old one but I like the idea of being able to staple more than just a couple pages. It loads from the back which I've been able to do without incident. I posted some photos of it open so you can see how it loads. I think this stapler will be with me for a long, long time.
