Bosch in my opinion one of the best tool brand, most of my tools are Bosch , first time in my experience with Bosch I have so bad quality cutting blade ,honestly I do not believe it is original I was cutting PVC pipe the blade just broke in first 45 seconds of use !! I will try contact Bosch directly because believe the blade is of quality

This blade does what it says that it will do -- It will cut through steel nails in studs. That is where I have been using it so far. I have had to trim out some termite damaged wood in very confined spaces and this blade is excellent for that use. In some cases I do not see that feature (ability to cut steel nails) advertised for this blade, but in my view that is one of the prime reasons to have it available as one of your tools.

This Bosch FS200ABF blade has worked well along with the miter base that came with my 1640VS fine cut saw kit for making both straight and miter cuts in small diameter copper tubing as well as some aluminum window screen frames. This blade has the added advantage of being able to cut non-ferrous metals in addition to wood and plastic and is also quite a bit more expensive than Bosch's regular FS200ABU wood and plastic cutting blade. Other than the hardened teeth though, both blades are otherwise identical in being Swiss made with the same 20 teeth per inch. I don't think this blade is intended for cutting steel and other ferrous metals directly, but it does say right on the package that it can be used for wood with imbedded nails, which is still a big improvement over Bosch's other regular fine cut blades.The cost for this particular blade from most online sellers seems disproportionately high, which can make this a rather expensive blade for ordinary everyday use, but overall it worked well cutting the non-ferrous metals that I needed it for, so I feel it was worth the expense.

This blade is wonderful! It works very well! Bosch should make this blade far more available than only online at a couple of sources! I use this regularly for cutting the door jambs when installing hardwood flooring. Too many times there is a finish nail hidden in the jamb being cut. When you hit such a nail using the non-hardened blade normally available at the "Big Box Contractor Stores" that blade then becomes mostly useless. Even ordering through Amazon the extra cost IS worth it in the long run! You can save the expense of three of the regular, non-hardened, blades by using this one. The biggest problem is that Bosch doesn't have many available. Shame on Bosch!
