Best sawhorse you’ll ever purchase. Love that you can adjust height to 36” so I don’t have to bend over and stress my back. They are also easy to adjust so they are the same height as my miter saw when it’s on my Workmate. They are a bit heavy, but very strong.

WOW. The delivery guy rang my door bell and asked me for a passcode he had my Bora Portamate Speedhorse XT laying by his side in a long narrow box once he confirmed the passcode he then released to me my package so I leant forward thinking this was a light object as I assumed it would be made of light aluminium and to my shock my hands slid up the box as I did not expect this item to be heavy and took me by surprise, so I then used more force and lifted this long slender box up three flights of stairs.To put it basically these are the best saw horses imaginable the Rolls Royce of saw horses they are exquisite in their attention to detail they are everything and more are built to last and constructed for premium materials I am glad I went with the adjustable leg height option as I find a higher working area more conducive to my back being bent over a work bench with a higher working stature which aids in less back strain at an end of an evening cutting sheets of wood.The good thing is once you are done with your project these saw horses just fold back up and can be stowed and take up very little room, be warned for the size of them I did not expect them to be as heavy as they are, which is a good thing and I am not normally impressed with working tools these days but the Bora Portamate Speedhorse XT Sawhorse is such a versatile tool it will come in handy doing any kind of carpentry work or anything else that you man need to erect a mobile table work bench the saw horse will come in very handy as I will be building two subwoofer boxes I hope they last me for decades as this item is a keeper.

First thing you notice is how heavy they are. They feel really solid and just a little less so with the legs out. The built in features are pretty nice including the slots for 2x4’s on the edges. The adjustable legs are a great feature for uneven ground. The top of the horses have a heavy duty grip tape on them if you decide not to use wood. Side to side feels pretty sturdy for being a portable sawhorse but still not solid like the old school hand made ones. The down side to these is most of the horse is made out of metal. Except, some of the critical parts. The latch to release the legs and the holder mechanism are plastic. Beyond that the latch itself that holds the leg in is essentially a little plastic tab. One for each leg. I can’t see that standing up to tough conditions. I’m also concerned with how thin the leg steel is and its ability to hold the advertised weight of 1800lbs each. I’m going to put them to a real test soon with a stack of drywall. That will tell the story. -1 start for the plastic mechanism after using metal most places. The leg extensions feel like fiberglass but reasonably sturdy. They came so far with the product design and it feels like they just gave up with the last details. That being said it seems these are nice overall compared to the available options on the market.

An amazing tool... solid construction, nothing flimsy- even as the legs are deployed they move smoothly into position. Once set up, you have a multitude of ways to then create a work surface or work station.... just need two sawhorses to hold pipe or lumber while you cut it to size? Check. Want to tie the two of them together with a 2x4 or 2x6 and then build on that? Check. uneven ground? you can adjust each leg as required.Ive been building, using and abusing (wood) sawhorses for 50 years .... these are game changers.I found these when a framing crew pulled out a 10 year old set ....used 5 days a week, for years. Took one look and said "Yes please"Finally these are not the plastic garbage you will see from Dewalt at the big orange store... these are serious tools

These saw horses are just what I needed in my shop. I have a compact shop and cannot afford to let saw horses eat up floor space when not in use. The Bora Portamate Speedhorse XT Sawhorses are stored in such a compact way that they take up little room when not used. When used, they can be set up quickly and are adjustable in height. When finished using them, they are just as easy to put away.They are great tools, and I would buy them again.

Installation, pose et ajustement en hauteur en 5 secondes, pieds avec grosse graduation très lisible pour la hauteur, stable, anti-glisse au-dessus. These are super nice! They are quite sturdy and I can literally toss a sheet of 3/4 on them without worrying they will fall over side ways like my normal saw horses.You are able to use 2x4's as a sacrificial cutting surface for cutting sheet goods. I lay 2 2x4's on each side in the provided notches. I also lay 2 more 2x4's flat in the middle which allows you to cut a 4x8 sheet without risk of half of it falling off the side of the saw horse.If you are a contractor that needs saw horses or just a good bench in the field these work really good. I'd for sure get the adjustable leg version. When I'm using it as a table stand that extra height makes all the difference.For the cons: They don't fold in quite as easy as I'd expect or like. You really have to hold them up sideways and let gravity slam them into place. You can push them in manually but there is a finger pinch point to watch out for. The adjustable legs are a bit of a pain to retract up as well. There is a risk of finger pinching during this as well. I think if these was redesigned a bit these horses would be so much better. Overall though I will probably be getting another set.
