This is a great product. The only thing I would recommend would be to clear coat and protect the mdf. I used shellac and taped off T-slots. Such a great space saving work bench.

I had high hopes for this unit. A lot less expensive than the TrackTubes MFT "TrackTop", but all in all I wish I had bought that instead--and will do so, someday soon. The folding capability makes it pretty easy to carry. That's the good news. The bad news is that it folds the wrong way!If it folded outward from the top (hinges on bottom), you could put down half of it, secure that half, and then unfold the other half. But if you do that, the hinge pins, are on top, where they are totally in the way. To use it, then, you have to unfold it from the *bottom* outward (hinges on top). With that design, you still get the space savings of a folded top, but to use it you have to lay the whole thing down as a single unit--which obviates much of the convenience promised by the folding.Because of that inconvenience, and the way I needed to attach it to my rails (detailed below), I decided to leave the top attached to the rails. But that was at the point at which I began to wish I had invested in the TrackTop, instead:1. The TrackTop has built-in handles that let you carry the unit horizontally, as well as vertically. (The Bora top handles only work when carried vertically. That's fine when folded, but not when open.)2. The TrackTop has an easily-replaced sacrificial cutting strip (cool design).3. The TrackTop has special dogs that can be easily added to position a Track Saw Guide perpendicularly, with the edge right over the sacrificial strip.4. With my (admittedly unorthodox) configuration, it's harder to get the rails in and out of the sawhorse slots. (The TrackTop is designed to fit *over* standard sawhorse rails. It's heavier, but looks to be easier to manage, overall.)My use is somewhat unorthodox, though, so factor that into what I say. (I got two of the TrackTubes Quadtracks and put them in a saw horse. With the Bora MFT unfolded on top, it comes pretty close to working that way. At the back side, it can sit flush with the QuadTrack, allowing (one day) a Track Saw Guide Hinge. On the front, that leaves a 2" lip--which I kind of like, as it allows me to clamp things to the front of the bench the way I'm used to doing, without *having* to use the dog holes. The other good news that a standard 1/4-20 bolt fits in the mounting holes. Add a washer and a know, and you're good to go. But that only works for *one* of the mounting points. (For me, that's at the right rear.) They would also work for the middle two mounting points in the rear, but in that location they interfere with the Track-saw guide square. So I wound up removing those. The front right, front left, and back left mounting points, unfortunately, are no where near the standard locations for saw horse rails. So at those locations I drilled a 1/4" hole and used 1/4-20 bolts. (The QuadTracks only take metric T-bolts, not standard T-bolts. But regular 1/4-20 bolts work, so I used those.)The next thing I discovered was that, used that way, the hinge pin at the front sits on the rail, pushing the top up a half an inch or so in the middle. (The fix: Quickly saw through the molded plastic-resin hinge body (pretty cool, that), and then take a hacksaw to the last 3/4 of an inch or so of the hinge pin. All in all, quick and easy.)To sum up: I wanted the more sturdy foundation provided by a pair of sawhorses and rails. (It's not quite as portable as the Bora Centipede, but it's portable enough.) A version of this top that was designed for standard sawhorse rails would be ideal, but with a few modifications, it works well enough to use for a while before I upgrade.
