The rail clamps in nice and tight. Works great for cutting straight lines. The clamp mechanism gets jammed a lot, though, which can be frustrating.

Sliding clamp can get stuck at times if you don't proper push in the padded part before adjusting. Very minor issue relative to how much it helps me cut straight as I am not an experienced wood worker. However I am a little more inspired to try other projects now that I have this tool to help me. The real test will be this coming week when I attempt to cut my own butcherblock counter tops. Wish me luck!!

PLACE CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE LENGTH. The “can cut up to 100” means you need to buy additional guides. If you want to cut an 8’ long piece of plywood the 36” won’t do. Then you’ll buy the 50” extension and it’s still too short.Want to rip a sheet of ply? Don’t start off with the 36”.Clamps fine. Stays in place.
