This tall and narrow depth ladder bookshelf has 5 tiers of gradually increasing depth shelves, from an 8.7” deep top shelf, up to 13.6”deep on the bottom shelf. All the shelves are 17”wide. The design incorporates a ledge around each shelf so things won’t roll off. I am currently using this to display books and family photos. It would also make a perfect shelf for plants, especially african violets. Bamboo looks so clean and natural, and this has a natural look lacquer finish to protect it. Despite it being lightweight enough for me to move by myself, this bamboo shelf is very sturdy and strong. I love the way it looks in my living room. The only problem with this shelf is deciding how I want to use it because there are so many options.

Supplied in a cardboard box, when I took all the parts out, I initially thought, “this looks like a bit of a job,” particularly when I saw how many screws there are.Once I got down to it, the ‘bookcase’ was remarkably easy to put together. All the screw holes are either clearance or pilot drilled, so there is no need to carefully align things, the self-tapping screws do the hard work for you.I think that, in all, from unpacking to placing it in my spare room, the ‘bookcase’ took no more than half an hour (whilst simultaneously watching the TV).I think this ‘bookcase’ looks quite smart. It doesn’t sit too tall; it is not that wide. Notice how I keep putting ‘’ around the word ‘bookcase’? This is because I am not sure I can agree that it is of sufficient size or that the shelves are of sufficient thickness to classify as a bookcase. OK, maybe for a few paperbacks, but that’s it.I have mine as a very handy storage unit. It’s a great size for tucking away in a spare space, the design of the shelves make it easy to see what you have placed upon them, and the quality of the unit makes it easy to live with.

The Vovala 5-layer shelf's bamboo frame brings the warmth and tranquillity of nature indoors. You can notice that the softly curved, soft-coloured bamboo has been treated correctly for its longevity and to improve its natural attractiveness and I'm gonna say they did a good job.I got this bamboo frame for my other house which I recently renovated and all rooms' colour is light grey and every room has a modern look so I was a little worried if this frame gonna match this colour or not but this frame goes with modern and traditional look very well.Lovely clean lines, really practical and strong. Made from bamboo which is a more sustainable resource than wood. Super easy to assemble and it didn't take long at all to figure out what goes where and how.looks fab! Suitable for storing small-weight objects, plants, books or any decoration items, more Study after it is loaded with pots or any other stuff. All shelves and frames are so smooth and polished no worries for any splinter or hurting yourself.The wide base and narrowing top create an elegant, attractive look. I'm impressed with the idea that each ladder shelf has side lips on all four edges. These lips prevent your gadgets, photos, baskets, and plants from slipping off. An anti-tipping kit is included to keep the shelf unit from toppling over, further ensuring maximum safety.

This 5-tier Ladder Bookshelf is a fantastic addition to my office den. The bamboo frame looks natural and stylish blending in perfectly with my room decor. The tall narrow design is great and it still holds a lot of books and decorative items. Assembly was straightforward and the shelves feel sturdy enough to handle a mix of heavier books and lighter items without wobbling. The only small downside is that the shelves are tiered and the top ones are smaller which limits what you can put there. But overall, it’s a sleek and functional piece that’s perfect for organizing.
