Too light weight and breakable. Sounds horrible.

My 3 year old loves it. I love that you have to press a key for it to work. My only complaint is that it's so cheap feeling for the price. It hasn't broke yet and it's been a couple months. Still happy with the purchase.

My 5 Year old wanted a trumpet from Santa this Christmas, and She was delighted to see this under the tree. Works well.I have a very happy (and a bit noisy :) child.

My toddler likes it, but as a parent, I'm disappointed. It's not realistic, it's more like a bigger version of a party favor toy. Cheap plastic that can break easily. It does give a little challenge to the kids as you have to press the knobs and blow for it to make a sound. But like most people mentioned, it's more like a kazoo, however I guess for now it's serves it's purpose until I can afford to buy a real trumpet for my child. I do think it is overpriced though for the material.

Poor quality... item arrived in a screwed up box, with lots of scratchs as an used item. Also, sound is not good at all, even for a toy.

Out of all the Christmas gifts the kids got this year, this was the most popular. All 4 kids were constantly playing with it. You blow into the mouthpiece and push down one or all of the 4 buttons. No sound comes out when you're not pushing a button, but the 4 buttons correspond to an arpeggiated chord: Do, Mi, Sol, Do. Pressing multiple keys plays multiple notes. A definite winner!

I bought this toy trumpet for my two year old son because he is in love with band and music, and this trumpet is a great way to introduce him to instruments. It does actually play notes and sound, and it is not hard for him to blow in it. The silver color fades to black after a couple of weeks, but a two year old doesn't care about that. It looks real enough to make him think he has a real trumpet. I recommend this toy trumpet for 2-5 year olds.

Got this for his 3rd birthday. He loved it so much and was sooooooooo happy. He has played it every day for a week now and starting to make different tunes. It's quite light and made of plastic. But it looks nice and made well. It held up when he accidentally stomped on it and banged around with his other toys

I was torn what to do because my 6 year old son has been asking for a trumpet for years. I almost bought him a $100 real trumpet, but thought I'd give this a shot and see if it satisfied him. It is light weight and plastic, but makes a good sound. He is happy for now and has been playing it all Christmas morning. Even my 2 year old daughter can play it easily.
