This is the consistency of a clay or play dough. I found it more difficult to get it to cover some pruning sites vs the traditional brand which has a creamier and “stickier” consistency.Once in place, it does an excellent job.

Been doing bonsai for over 40 years, this is my second jar as I used up the first one after all this time, Its a great product, but recommend you put a piece of plastic on the jar when not in use, helps [protect it.
