Bone Guitar Saddle
Fits Many 1997 to 2019 Martin Guitars
This acoustic guitar bone saddle will fit many 1997 to 2019 Martin guitars as an upgrade or replacement. The saddle is wave compensated for improved intonation. The radius is set at 16 inches to match many Martin fretboards and improve playability.
Note: This saddle will not fit guitars with saddles that go entirely through the bridge lengthwise.
Please note that each guitar is slightly different and your bone saddle may need adjustments to the height, length, or thickness.

Excellent saddle. Perfect fit for my Martin 00-18. Just have to file the bottom to lower the height.

I bought this to lower my strings and did not want to change my original Martin D18 saddle. To me it looked to be exact match to original before it is adjusted to fit. Bone Saddle have to be adjusted to fit each individual guitar. Seller reach out to me to see if I need any assistance with this process. They also can provide custom made products if needed.

Great quality unbleached bone saddle. The tonal palette is much better than the stock bleached bone. The timbre colours and flavors and sustain is more fuller, clearer. Each note on all strings blend together very well. Martin 0-18 sounds 100% better. I also had my luthier change the bleached bone nut to unbleached bone nut. And I have ordered water Buffalo horn bridge pins size 2c to replace the ebony wood bridge pins from custom inlays in Kentucky.

Really happy with this saddle. It came with everything I needed to size it perfectly. They even sent me an email with a video. All I needed was some simple sanding and kept checking for measurement. Take your time and you will have a great setup. My Martin D15 sounds great!

I bought this to lower action on my guitar and didn't want to sand the original saddle. Worked great, perfect fit and guitar sounds way better. Had to sand the bottom a bit. Intonation, sound and action turned out to be perfect after the installation. The unbleached color matches perfectly with the relic/faded guitar!

5 stars for the quality.However, i received nothing for my second purchase except for sandpaper. i’m not sure who’s fault this is but since i know it’s a great bone i won’t give a low review. i just don’t understand how they did not realize there had been no bone when they packaged it into the amazon shipping envelope. they should’ve immediately noticed the missing bone from that the lack of rigidity in the little baggie, but all humans make mistakes. i contacted amazon and they gave me a refund so i simply repurchased. please do prevent this from happening again. I would be actually upset if this was my first time ordering but it wasn’t.my first experience with this bone was fantastic. it was a perfectly snug fit which was really nice. sounded great too.

I love this saddle, it fit perfect in the slot. I just had to tweak it a little for my liking it was a bit too snug, plus I wanted to lower the action on my guitar strings so I sanded of the compensation and rounded off the top slightly lower than the original saddle it had on before. The reason I rounded off the top is because I have noticed that high end Martin guitars don’t have a compensated saddle, just a normal even saddle top, so I wanted to try it out for myself and I have no regrets. Love the sound it produces now, and I love my guitar more than ever. I also paired it with some bone bridge pins and it seems to have a well balanced warmer tone, the saddle it had before was made out of tusq and plastic bridge pins and now it actually sounds the way I wanted it to sound. I will buy another bone saddle from this seller in the future. By the way this guitar is a Martin D Special Ovangkol.
