Does exactly what I needed to blend some concrete surface texturing by evening the surface blemishes. After 30sf of some serious elbow grease, I noticed some black stone crumbles. They were coming out around the screws that hold the handle to the block and the handle was slightly loose, so rather than keep rubbing and lose the connection between the handle and block, I stopped, mixed up some Z-Poxy 2 part epoxy and filled the holes up to 1/8" above the screws and allowed the epoxy to cure till the following day...problem solved. Add the Z-Poxy the day before you use the brick, or sooner and as long as you don't drop it on a solid surface and break it, you should be good for alot longer, I finished all my edges and the remaining 170sf of surface area without fail. Tool performs as it should. Satisfied customer

I needed to smooth out some concrete slab indoors and the grider was both too powerful, uncontrollable and created a ridiculous mess. Though requiring a lot of elbow grease, it took off the concrete aggressively and with far less dust being kicked up. The business surface split in two on me after a little use, which is why the rating is downgraded. For me, the split was between the two screws that hold it onto the handle, so I was still able to use it. Had it split someone else though, it would have been unusable and have been a 1 star review. Summary is this is a great tool to be aware of and if you only need it a little, this one is fine, but if you were going to use it a lot, finding one that was built beefier would be better.

This is a great tool for sanding down bumps, leveling across cracks, and sanding down cement repairs, to level out, and make a smooth finish, before priming, and painting. I have worn down my first one of these, that I still use, that I bought a few years ago. Currently I am refinishing the inside walls of my basement, that were last painted, and fixed 30 years ago. I am 3/4 done with that project. A lot of the paint comes off, there are cracks to fix, and sections to repair with hydraulic cement, etc, This tool makes this kind of a project a whole lot easier, and by sanding these areas by hand, it really cuts down, and limits the extent of the dust it creates, in the area you need to clean up, in your work area. A very handy, multi purpose tool for cement work.

Amazing product!!!!! I used it to smooth out shot put and discus rings and had incredible results.PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS THING DOES NOT LAST FOREVER!!! It’s going to be sanded down just like the surface you use it on. One brick lasted through one shot ring and one disc ring for me but will depend on your strength and thoroughness.
