Our pontoon boat cover is getting old, and that means it’s shrinking away from the snaps. These are a simple and elegant solution. I don’t need a ton of extra length, so these 1” to 2” straps are ideal for me. They are nicely made, so they look nice on the boat. We’ll only need them in a few key spots, so the rest of this ten-pack will be handy to have on hand.

We got these to extend the life on our boats cabin enclosure. The adjustability is nice to have. The boat is currently wrapped in plastic for winter storage. We will update as needed in the Spring.

My winter cover for my boat had shrunk like most canvas does after some wet/dry weather cycles, so these worked well to bridge the gap between the stern snaps and the trailing edge of my boat cover. The were a quick and inexpensive remedy to a common problem with canvas covers.

These little extenders are a really great. They are a must have for anybody that has a boat with a canvas cover of any sort. I use these on mooring covers that don't fit like new. Many times, the canvas covers shrink from the sun damage or can also shrink if the weather turns cold. Sometimes the covers won't fit because of other accessories being mounted on the gunnel or elsewhere and the accessory takes more material to cover it. That can keep the original snaps from mating up with the mount. These extenders give you the extra length that can be needed for the mooring cover to fit properly on your boat. The extender can also reduce the stress on the existing snaps and that helps your cover to last longer and reduce the chance of it tearing. I keep a few in my boat at all times
